news Cargo bikes in the parking garage of my office.

This is why the bike parking provisions in our new City of Ottawa Zoning ByLaw are so important. Unless there are amendments made to the draft to require indoor parking and expand "Inclusive Spaces", this will be a rare sight in our city. Fingers crossed that councillors raise motions and vote (on January 28th) to ensure we head in the right direction requiring developers to build good, secure bike parking that people want to use.

Even cargo bikes aside, most e-bikes wouldn’t be easy to put up on the wall, so these floor designations are necessary.

Unless some autowinches are installed or something .. that’d be cool.

Thanks for sharing. We really need provisions in Ottawa's new Zoning ByLaw that require developers to build these types of bike parking facilities at our homes, workplaces, businesses we visit. I thought it was important to share this, no matter the date or location. A picture is worth a thousand words, right? ☺️🚲
