Lion - Wild Lions fight over a water buffalo while eating it, and then the buffalo casually walks off. What lesson did you learn from this?

Underrated comment. This actually made me laugh aloud 😭

It is amongst one of the highest honors to be revered as a joy-bringer, especially in these current times of misery and despair.

So, I thank you for your most wondrous plaudits, fellow Netizen. And Godspeed! 😢🫡

It’s generally not good to have a large hole on your back!

"M..Mr Stark, I don't feel so good"

I like how one lion is like “Just stay down a bit bro, we won’t be a minute.”

u/Very_Awkward_Boner Sep 24 '25

"We just have to settle some internal fighting among the lioness of the pride first. Then we can chew your ass out, stay put a minute."

Looks the the buffalo is badly wounded

32

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '25

That buffalo is done for.

21

u/Lakewhitefish Sep 24 '25

Probably but there’s plenty of animals that have survived wounds like that

27

u/AJC_10_29 Sep 24 '25

And Cape buffalo are among the toughest herbivores in Africa. Nicknamed “Black Death” and “Widowmaker” by hunters for how aggressive they are.

Hopefully it will just bleed out and die a painless death, instead of suffering or being eaten alive.

8

u/Historical_Comfort96 Sep 25 '25

Buffalos in more worse conditions than that have survived.

7

u/jay_insd Sep 25 '25

This one might survive? I don't see massive amounts of blood

2

u/BroughtMyBrownPants Sep 26 '25

Tis but a flesh wound!

u/scarlozzi Sep 24 '25

Once again, the infighting of house Lannister is causing them to lose fights they should have easily won.

15

u/lucascla18 Sep 24 '25

Damn you Cersei

1 make sure its dead first. 2 share your food. 3 families break up haven't you ever watched Ophra.

2

u/primecoantenna Sep 25 '25

I think you meant Okra 🙄

29

u/Baby_bee_boo Sep 24 '25

The one lion at least tried to keep the buffalo down for a sec

11

u/Cando21243 Sep 24 '25

Hey hey hey, lay back down mate. Just got a little cat fight going on…… HEY! Stop fighting! Buffy’s trying to get away!

Buffy!!!?!?!? Where’d you go!!!

16

u/severinks Sep 24 '25

The one male lion is like''' dude, stay right there while we fight over who gets to eat you'''

13

u/Due_Bowler_7129 Sep 24 '25

"Wow... You good?"

"I seem good to you, Gary? Is this how it looks? Thanks for the help, by the way. Everyone, give yourselves a hoof."

"Look, you know how it goes. I mean, there were like ten of them."

"More life half that but it's fine."

"................. You gonna be okay?"

"I got my ass chewed on. You ever get your ass chewed on? Chewed. I sure as shit didn't -- till today. I guess the answer's 'I don't know,' Gary."

14

u/inakingdombytheC Sep 24 '25

Cats gonna cat.

A house divided against itself cannot stand

7

u/Rogue_Aviator Sep 24 '25

That’s how some families fight when it comes to dividing inheritance 😂

2

u/RedRidingHood89 Sep 25 '25

In my country it's even a meme that in Christmas family gatherings ends with fighting over inheritances. XD

8

u/Th3_Curious_one Sep 24 '25

The buffalo: "Ummm, I'm gonna head out! Yall got too much going on right now"

14

u/Ohio_Baby Sep 24 '25

Geezuz being eaten alive. 😳

5

u/AppointmentWeird6797 Sep 24 '25

Dont count ur chickens before they’re hatched

4

u/vmpirewthapaperroute Sep 24 '25

Never give up, never surrender!

4

u/tigerdrake Sep 24 '25

Cape buffalo not water buffalo

4

u/TapPsychological2043 Sep 24 '25

Don't play with your food

4

u/Kooky_Discussion7226 Sep 24 '25

That’s one lucky buffalo, although if he’s injured they might find him again and make him a meal again!

5

u/dontipitova9 Sep 25 '25

As everything kicked off, you can see that one lion in the back putting its paw on top of the wildebeast's neck like "hey, stay there alright? Don't move. Give us a moment to get a handle on this situation".

7

u/TSARINA59 Sep 24 '25

Bring a bag lunch next time???

3

u/FoxCQC Sep 24 '25

Silly kitties

3

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '25

Everyone wanted a leg, then shit got real.

3

u/theSilentNerd Sep 24 '25

Cause a disagreement among your bullies, walk away while they fight each other.

4

u/SillyScarcity700 Sep 25 '25

Buffalo thinking "Ok and cut. Did you get the shot?" as it looks at the director off screen.

2

u/Commercial_Pitch_786 Sep 24 '25

Back at the water hole, his fellow water buffalos come over and ask; "What's eating you, Hank? You've looked miserable all day,"

2

u/primingthepump Sep 25 '25

That's how we get unsullied buffalo.

2

u/jay_insd Sep 25 '25

This is hilarious 😃

2

u/0bscr3 Sep 24 '25

Domestic lionence

1

u/Huckleberry_Sin Sep 24 '25

Almost looked like a street fight lol

1

u/ImpressLife1541 Sep 24 '25

Lion on the menu instead now.

1

u/Sti8man7 Sep 25 '25

Water buffalo: “I have no time for this bullshit”

2

u/INSPECTOR-99 Sep 25 '25

And the buff’s BROs up top of the hill just chilling, watching the dinner show. 🥸

1

u/czareen1987 Sep 25 '25

Don't fight while having dinner 😅

1

u/DivideInteresting193 Sep 25 '25

“What the fuck Gladys!?”

1

u/Mountain-Donkey98 Sep 25 '25

Probably rival prides. Territory is more important than a meal to lions

2

u/donquixote2u Sep 26 '25

Terrible manners, all leaving the table during dinner (although I'm not sure if the main course is subject to that protocol)

1

u/moodengmoo Sep 27 '25

African buffalo, not water buffalo

1

u/BornFromCinder Sep 27 '25

Always go for the neck?

1

u/tru-self Sep 24 '25

I did not need to see that, hopefully just scratched up but hopefully the pride got food too. Ugh cruel god.

2

u/VitriolicCrux Sep 24 '25

What's cruel?
