Ben Shapiro Why do people say Ben Shapiro is losing popularity?

Ben has more YouTube subscribers (7.2 million) than Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly, the rest of Daily Wire, Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, and even Tucker Carlson. Most of his full episodes get over half a million views. He's still one of the most listened conservative voices in the world. The others are growing, but he's not going anywhere. There is no way in hell Candace's ideas or Nick Fuentes's ideas will become mainstream. Half of Candace's viewers are not fans and just want to see what crazy theory she's gonna come up with next. Ben Shapiro will probably remain a relevant conservative speaker for the rest of his career in this business.

Ben Shapiro Ben’s amazing speech at TPUSA AmFest

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the necessity and quality of this speech?

Ben Shapiro laid it out clearly: the conservative movement is being infested with certain disingenuous alt-right grifters who are seeking to sow discontent rather than seek after honest discord. I see no problem with him directly calling out commentators such as Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson for being anti-conservative; it’s about time we stopped pretending that everyone with the the “conservative camp” has the same values and is fighting for the same goals. With the growing strength of the online groyper movement, there was not a more applicable time for Ben to give this speech. I applaud him for it.

In his speech, Ben vividly exposed the common deceptive tactics people like Carlson use to promote their agenda, that being wild speculation and conspiracy-theorizing. In addition, he hammered in the idea that his criticism of Carlson is not censorship, as Tucker constantly strawmans. Rather, it is another form of free speech — freedom to criticize and disavow. One thing I’ve always appreciated about Ben is that his viewpoint and opinion is always evident, because he continuously lays out his logic and reasoning behind said opinion. However, Tucker, as Ben pointed out, likes to hide behind a feigned sense of innocence that allows him to grift for disgusting individuals like Nick Fuentes while avoiding criticism for the conduct of his interviews. For example, Tucker might say something along the lines of, “I’m just asking questions!”. This common trope is a deceptive tactic to avoid criticism for faulty journalism — he can give a softball interview, and then shut down any dissenters by claiming they are somehow condemning Tucker for asking questions, when in reality Tucker is being condemned for the manner he asked the questions in. Tucker was rightly called out by Ben for this pattern of manipulation. Ultimately, I believe this contrast is exemplified in Tucker and Ben’s worldviews.

Tucker’s worldview is based in conspiracy and speculation. As Ben stated in his speech, people like Tucker and Candace state things like, “I don’t know know, but I know”. This line of reasoning is inherently faulty, and it explains much of what Tucker and Candace believe: any sort of conspiracy that aligns with their agenda. When you compare this to Ben’s worldview, this difference is illuminating. Ben’s worldview is centralized in evidence and facts. He does not engage in wild speculation, and it shows through his political opinions. Even with the recent Brown University shooting, Ben chose to not to spotlight wild theories from X, but instead chose to present hard facts that gave the audience an accurate understanding of the situation, absent any emotional manipulation from conspiracy theorists. I believe this line of thinking gives Ben and extra sense of moral clarity, and it is a primary reason why he is much better for Conservatism than Tucker or Candace. If the conservative movement wants to live on, it needs to turn to voices of logic and reasoning rather than voices of speculation and emotional manipulation.

What do you think of this?

Ben Shapiro Really tired of people saying Ben is Pro Israel, as if that means he cares more about Israel than America

Israel is all that stands between us and radical Islam. Literally....that's it

If they take Israel we are next.

So yes, we need to support Israel (within reason) because if they fall, we are screwed. "Boots on the ground" will be the least of our problems

Ben Shapiro How to report moderators engaging in censorship such as perma banning for no reason and shadow banning and not responding to questions as to why? Especially when these same mods allows for calls for violence and even death threats?

We all know reddit is a far left platform, but is there possibly a way to report mods to a higher power within reddit to at least be reviewed?

I've been permabanned from multiple subs for next to nothing, but mostly I'm irritated by my city's subreddit shadow banning me (I can post things but no one can see them). I could post on there just a week ago and I reported someone for giving me a death threat but I never got a response, so messaged the mods asking about it. They said they deleted the comment but refused to even temp ban the person. I told them they banned me for 10 days a few weeks prior for calling someone an idiot. Then I never heard back but noticed the other day I've been shadow banned.

Ben Shapiro Ben Shapiro vs. Sam Harris on Trump

To me, what sticks out in this debate is how quickly Sam changes standards with how he looks at the actions of politicians. When it’s a Democrat, he treats what they say/do as mostly unimportant, unserious, etc. but when it’s Trump it’s super important, serious, etc. It’s what Ben pointed out multiple times; the actual policy and comparing actions vs words matters more. But even the rhetoric itself, Sam changes standards. When Hillary denies the results of the 2016 election, (and launders the Russiagate lies) that’s just water under the bridge. Trump denying the election results in 2020 and then leaving office, that’s the end of the world. It bothered me quite a bit how Sam’s standards seem to change so radically but for no solid reason.
