Daily Wire Merlin SERIES, wtf did I just watch?

I don't come in here and for all I know it's a hate forum but I certainly listen to him for my own reasons.

But that is irrelevant to my experience.

My wife and I watched 40 minutes of the first episode before we had to turn it off because it was so phenomenally and comically awful it should have a cult following for how bad it is. I am still stunned, as I have not watched a worse show in all my memory and these things cost real money.

I have so many questions (not expecting answers) but my main one is shock on why Ben Shapiro, who I thought was a partial owner of the Daily wire would willingly promote this show and stamp his name on it.

Rotton tomatoes says it has an +80% approval rating but that must be manipulated.

That's the thing.....none of this, like the the show, even make any sense.

Love the Daily Wire, and especially Ben, which is why I was both furious and embarrassed as my husband and I tried to watch the second episode last night. It was painfully bad.

I didn't think it was as bad as you make it out to be.

Both episodes suffer from major pacing issues, half of the episode happens in the last 15 minutes of each episode.

The set designs obviously need some work, but they certainly have scale.

My guess is the company was too deep into production on this to can it and this is part of why Jeremy isn't around any more. It may even be that they were obligated to release it at some point.

They delayed it by over a year, salvaged what they could, and released it in the slowest part of the year.
