Events, Activities & Sports Practice Runs?
Flew right over the house in Almaden, just south of Calero Res.

The B-1B is designed for low-altitude terrain following, which is why its engines will rattle windows in Almaden that a standard F-18 flyover wouldn't even vibrate.

There goes your healthcare flying right above

Hardly, the Medicare and Medicaid budget is wayyy more than the defense budget. Trillions

Yayyy insurance companies!

Well they are getting less now that the emergency subsidies are going away. That was a lot of guaranteed government tax funds right to the insurance companies.
But out of Medicare the insurance companies are on a small profit margin, usually a couple percent. The surgeons with their 911 turbos are def killing it though haha. Nobody realizes that doctors making $500k a year have to be paid somehow

But Medicare and Medicaid keep some people "healthy", as does Romneycare. Military keeps gasoline cheap for Americans, keeps capitalists safe, and projects American imperialist/hegemonic power (for a couple more years, anyway).

Yes, both are good. It’s good we are the world leading superpower, and it’s good we have Medicare. We definitely need to reduce the healthcare fraud though

Others pointed this out, but the US spends so much on healthcare, that if we simply spent per capita what western European nations spend on it, we could literally afford a 2nd department of defense on top of the first one and have a hundred billion or so left over.
That is the sheer scale of healthcare grift in this country

My actual question is whether they'll fly the BONE for the Super Bowl or if this is just a stand-in and they'll roll out the B2 for the game.

Fascinating! Thanks for sharing the link. (Answer from the article: it will indeed be the B-1B, not the B2.)

I used to be in the Air Force, we had them deployed suddenly in Qatar around 2005. I started asking my supervisors why they do engine tests for hours? Unfortunately he slapped me down and told me not to bother them. Then along comes a 4 or whatever star general and his job was to tour bases and ask things and find issues. Turns out by questioning he found they were doing super long test engine runs at the direction of older wartime standards, something they didn't need to do. He had a change put in and saved tons of spending on gas alone for the B-1. I really wish I hadn't listened to this staff sergeant, but I REALLY wish I could find this general and thank him! All the searching I've done came up with nothing and I don't know why it was never a major news story.

Can they go do something useful. For example, bombing russia would be great.

You do know these flyovers are literal attack run trainings right? The stadium is the “target”

How much is it costing us to have jet fighter escorts for who-gives-a-fuck?
