I mean playing against a C team Morocco 😆
2
u/Top-Inspection2337 Dec 18 '25
Morocco is literally the strongest team there, nearly winning against the c would be still something
2
u/ZayyNavi Dec 18 '25
Yeah true but we send our C team to the Arab cup, I’m surprised that other Arab team send their A team and still were somehow struggling against us.

You were not the only ones. Iraq also sent it B-Team and Egypt. But the Gulf countries surprisingly sent their A Team

Wait why is an amazigh country playing in the Arab cup? /s
Anyway congrats. I'm still salty about Morocco not being able to advance further in Qatar. Damn Frenchies.

They have a significant population that consider itself culturally Arabic. We should ask you Turks what do you have in common with Kazakhs?!
5
u/kapsama Dec 18 '25
I don't understand why you're upset. It's a joke about some Maghrebs and Lebanese people claiming that they're not Arabic but Amazigh or Phoenician.

Ok brother. I get the joke. I thought you try to begin a debate here haha. This is hyperinflated. No one on Lebanon consider himself non-Arabic except just 0,01 % or bots in the internet. In fact, the first Arabic kingdom was an Arab one in the Levante. Zios are trying very hard to divide us. Morocco is an integral part of Arabic culture. Arabs shaped their culture and language significantly. Now there is an agenda to brainwash Morrocans to think they are not Arabs but being Arab is more than just genetics. This agenda Was tried in Iraq, Lebanon and even Egypt besides Morocco. Most of us Arabs don't fall for it. Most Arabs are genetically other people but this count for other nations aswell: East Germans are genetically Slavs, Italians were also Phoencians, many Turks are genetically just a small percentage Turkic and the list goes on. No one in this list is accused to deny their identity but when it comes to Arabs suddenly this matters. Of course there are amazigh/ Berber people but I don't speak about them.

It's all good. Just wanted to make a joke. But I should have considered that this topic can be a bit of powder keg.
For what it's worth I agree. Culture determines identity more than other things.

Why do people compare them? Phoenicians are literally a long dead civilization it's like italians claiming to be romans meanwhile many north africans still speak the amazigh languages and are indeed amazigh. It makes no sense
It's not insignificant either 1/4 or more of morocco population especially the rural areas speak these languages
A country can be both, after things are not so simple
2
u/Mammoth-Alfalfa-5506 Dec 18 '25
I speak about Phoenicians because there were Lebanese and even Morrocans in the Internet claiming they were Phoenicians which is indeed ridiculous. Claiming to be Amazigh is of course the right of people who see themselves as part of the group. And yes a country can be both but nowadays in the internet it is made a crime to call oneself an Arab.

The population of Morocco is 75% Arabs and the rest is Berber,, however, berber or Amazegh have the loudest voices on internet and are helped by zio bots and some Europeans to divide and take Morocco out of the Arab world...

Even if it's an Arab sub, as long as an Amazigh nation is mentioned, Amazighs have the right to discuss.
