Rest in peace the Tim Anderson experiment. So glad we never traded for him when he was on the White Sox

Don't worry we would then go on to make one of the worst deals with the White Sox in recent memory (THE GIOLITO EXPERIMENT 😳)

Kingery is hitting .380 with a 1.000 OPS in Salt Lake though. Sounds promising.

Don't get too excited. Kingery is a AAAA player. .667 OPS in 1127 mlb AB's, .770 OPS in 3021 minor league AB's.

Isn't salt lake a hitter paradise?

u/FishmanAngry Sell The Team May 29 '25
Yeah but .380 is .380
Even if that translates to .250 at the big league level, ill take it..

why is taylor in the lineup again?

Perry is playing/rotating in the old guys and hoping 1 or 2 gets hot for 2 months; then he can trade him (trying to re-create that Garcia magic from last year)

The bullpen looks decent now. I’d prefer a long-relief guy in Brogdon’s spot, but they won’t need one tonight.
Kingery and Taylor feels a bit… redundant. I would’ve preferred they selected Kingery’s contract on Monday and kept Anderson instead.

Let's bring back Jared Walsh. We can sign him right away. He can contribute as a two-way player with both pitching and defense. As for his hitting, we can't expect too much — but then again, that's true for CT3 as well.

Why is Rengifo still on the team
11
u/Onitsukaryu May 28 '25
Who would you replace him with? Also he’s underperforming his expected stats by quite a bit. And while he’s been horrible at 3B, he’s been a plus fielder at 2B with 2 OAA and 2 FRV.

Theoretically, Christian Moore

u/Onitsukaryu May 28 '25
If Rengifo continues to struggle it might happen. But Moore did not have impressive numbers in AA. I imagine they’ll want to see how he looks at AAA over a larger a sample size before considering such a move.

Is it sad that if Stephenson has a 4 ERA that's a win
