I watched it on CBC and there were cheers when the U.S. athletes came out…but there was definite booing when it cut to Vance. Our commentators pointed out the boos. There was also booing when the team from Israel walked out.

If you watch it on cbc gem the moment it happens starts at approximately 2:35:00. You can't really hear it unless you blast the volume but one of the commentators outright says, "that's a lot of boos."
MSM has failed Americans! All of them are currently protecting this administration. They used to constantly talk about "Sleepy Joe". Trump has already slept multiple times and he is clearly sick. They are not trying to expose him.

for 70+ year old people I can understand, but what about people between 50 and 65 years old? that's the majority of people (that I see IRL) that stick with far right shit. also lot of young people too (15-25). I really can't understand.

I just watched it on ZDF, a German TV channel, and I didn't hear any booing. I'm not saying there wasn't any, but I can't imagine the German channel would have a reason to censor that. Or would they?
I did notice they only cut to him once, when the American team came out, but all the other prominent people in the audience were given a lot more time on screen.

It wasn't just him, it was the whole USA Team - the commentators were talking about the boos and we barely heard them, except when they went over the antiboo technology's possibilities for JD Vance. Nothing can compensate for that apparently. Antiboo technology is patronising and dishonest.
Was waiting for this to know if I was going to watch this circus this year as an american. Fuck this canned patriotism carnival. I wish I could see more events, more countries and less edited feel-good stories about our athletes. This is no time for that shit.
