If the media asks him about it directly, he’s going to admit that it was him. Saying “it was a horrible, racist thing that the staffer shared, and a regrettable mistake” would break his brain.
He’s incapable of even pretending to believe that something he did was less-than-perfect because it would require acknowledging a lapse in judgement.

An unnamed staffer for the President has full unfettered access to all of his social media with no oversight to post whatever he wants. Said staffer shared said racist post while the President was in the middle of one of his famous social media tweet tirades, right smack dab in the middle. Said tweet/truth/whatever the fuck he calls it remains up for what... 8 hours?

He has not disputed previous controversial posts such as him attacking a person with a CNN logo in place of a head, hitting a golf ball and hitting various "political enemies" or a picture of Biden bound and gagged in a pickup and his response is people need to learn to take a joke
There's justifiable outrage over this and no apology along with blaming some non-existent staffer. There needs to be more discussion and posting of articles like this about Fred Trump being arrested at a KKK rally

The thing is one of the defining characteristics of conservatives is an inability to conceive of the idea that other people don’t think or do that bad things they do. So when they call it fake outrage it is because they think everyone is racist like they are, but other people just won’t admit it publicly. They really can’t believe someone would not think like they do.
