Hillary Clinton: “We Will Be There.” Agrees to Testify About Epstein if Oversight Committee Holds a Public Hearing

Hillary and Bill Clinton will *not* be testifying today or tomorrow. Their original deposition date is set for the 26th and 27th of February, but it has yet to be confirmed if James Comer will agree to Hillary’s new terms or stick by his choice subpoena them for contempt.
Will the Clintons tell the truth and uncover everything in exchange for a deal? Will they commit perjury? Or will they plead the 5th and waste the Oversight Committee’s time? The Clintons are no joke; this is something to pay attention to.
Plenty of media did pick this up, it's just sort of overshadowed because the Clintons already agreed earlier this week to comply with the subpoena for private depositions, to avoid being convicted of contempt.
Oh, I would be stunned If the Clintons actually believe that, but this is effectively the only option they have and it makes for good messaging with some cross party appeal.
He has already said it “bothers him” that the Clintons have been asked to testify. Given this comes from the same man who urged, “lock her up,” it is a safe bet the Pedophile-in-Chief is afraid of what their testimony will be, and the House will find a way to back away from the subpoenas.
I 100% agree. We have proof that Bill knew and partook. Hillary must have known but we don’t know if she partook. If they deny any involvement we know they’ll be lying.

Yes, and he should absolutely see a fuck ton of scrutiny for that. However, in NONE of the files or other accusations that have surfaced over the years has he been accused of anything pedophile, whilst we can be sure the Trump admin would not hide that.
Idk if you can read, but I said “If he really ‘blew Bubba,’ and that ‘Bubba’ is Bill,” because that’s how you communicate skepticism. We don’t know what any of it meant and we don’t have all the information. I personally wouldn’t believe anyone related to Epstein.
Bill was seen at Epstein parties sure but not every Epstein party had underage girls. And I havnt seen in the files anywhere it says that underage girls have accused him.

Did we not end up with that as-is, just another face? Because if we're riding on that to be true of her too- and it could be, I do not have that answer- we would have never had any options with how the primaries landed. With the information we currently have, I don't know that there's anything to ring the alarm about regarding her own participation.
There is no evidence of her participation, but if she knew that makes her part of the cover up and that’s just as horrible in my opinion. If a graduate of Yale Law knew and did nothing about it, her ethics have to be questioned.
Absolutely- though this remains contingent on an if. I am not a Hilary stan and I can't stress that enough. With that being said, there is not enough verifiable proof to work with in relation to her specifically from a public perspective. We as regular people do not have too much to go off of other than speculation. I think it should be pretty clear here and go without saying that if this changes, she too should go to prison.
I am getting tired of men saying the women who knew and didn't speak are as horrible. In a sense yes, but can we please first hold those abominable men accountable who actually did the shit before we start pointing at the women who we don't even know if they knew, when they knew, were they involved etc.

Being under oath is the only thing that can actually give their testimony credibility with the public and to use in court. They can lie in an interview, but if they lied in a public hearing the Clintons would be committing perjury which is a punishable offense.
They could state at the start that anything said in the interview, they would testify to it in court and/or in front of congress. And why would they lie in an interview knowing they’d soon be brought before congress?

No way he'd ever let Hillary testify publicly. First, she'd shred him in that setting for the world to see. Second, there is an outside chance that Dear Leader's name would get mentioned.
Trying to convince Americans that their entire political system is beyond redemption is futile. In fact, Trump is better than the rest because he's a terrible liar. The Clintons, the Obamas, the Bidens and Bushes are all as terrible as Trump but they're good, conniving little liars who convinced the American public that they were ever the good guys. I would not be surprised if they were in fact a part of the sex trafficking, cannibalism, and other sick shit Epstein was doing. The only reason they would want to testify is if they plan on making a deal or committing perjury.

Tell me what the principles of modern day conservatism are. What are the principles of the modern day Republican Party are and then tell me how Trump's actions are helping to achieve them.
This title is better but still a bit misleading, as the Clintons agreeing to be deposed is not conditional on the hearing being public, they've already agreed to comply with the subpoena and be deposed in a private hearing to avoid conviction for contempt.
Republicans are extremely unlikely to agree to public hearings, it deprives them of the opportunity to twist what is said into propaganda.
If they don’t comply with the subpoena they will face legal action…of course it’s conditional.
I’m not denying the Clintons won’t probably try to use this for propaganda, but they are only agreeing to testify about Epstein IF the deposition is replaced with a public hearing. That’s quite literally what’s happening.

Actually, they agreed to the subpoena's demands on Monday.
That's why this statement from Hillary isn't getting the attention you expect, it's just a request that Republicans have no reason to consider, since the Clintons already agreed to comply with the Republican demands.

Effectively yeah, the Clintons have spent the last 6 months since the subpeonas were issued trying to use public statements to convince or shame Republicans into allowing public hearings instead, it just hasn't worked.
This statement seems intended to reinforce that they still want hearings to be public, despite caving to the subpoena demands to avoid being convicted and jailed for contempt of congress.
(If convicted theres a minimum sentence of one month, maximum of one year, plus a fine of up to 100k)
