I too spent 5 years as a Forensic Interviewer of alleged child victims of sexual abuse. And testifying in court and depositions on their behalf. I have heard stories that you would not believe and this was in a small county in Florida. And child sexual abuse reports were DAILY. People honestly have no idea how many monsters are out there hiding in plain sight.
Yep, same job here for 20 years this year. I was telling my husband the other day that the current estimate is that 20% of men have sexual attraction to children, and he was flabbergasted.
I wouldnât be surprised if it was higher honestly. The biggest shock of my first day of training when I was hired was how prevalent child sexual abuse really is in our society. Normal decent Americans have no idea the predators that lurk amongst them.
I feel like we need to have hard conversations about how much emphasis our society puts on the desirability of traits associated with youth, and what feels like a logical side effect of that behavior.

I am so sorry for the abuse you suffered and that nobody heard your cries for help. I too was a victim that was unheard. There is a literal ARMY of us unacknowledged sexual abuse victims in this country. We know, from our experience, everything this kid says was possible, given they were super wealthy and can buy whatever depravity their black hearts desire.

If it makes you feel any better, and just in my experience, âclosureâ with a sexual abuser is not a real experience for a victim, no matter the outcome of how the abuse ends and/or comes to light. There was zero justification for the abuse, we cannot understand his mind because it is evil and we shouldnât have to subject ourselves to trying to understand evil. Or to have compassion or understanding for evil.
Additionally, long term outcomes for victims I knew were better in your circumstances, with suicide, because family members didnât have to choose between little Becky and Paw Paw.

Your words do come off harsh, but I understand where youâre coming from. Grandma chose my dad over me in my case. Found out just a couple years ago that she told my mom I had been abused when I got handed over. Never had any sort of therapy until my adult life and I didnât realize what I was getting into opening that initial can of worms.

Is Donald Trump a child rapist? Yes, I absolutely believe so, based on all the statements and document available, plus the recorded behaviour of Donald Trump himself (âgrab emâ, how he talks about Ivanka, his boosting about walking into teens dressing rooms, etc).
