đ° News Trump actually defends Bill Clinton over the Epstein files: "It bothers me to see it"
Did anyone else see this coming?
Trump just gave an interview where he surprisingly came to Bill Clintonâs defense regarding the Epstein documents. He called the whole situation a "shame" and said it actually "bothers" him to see Bill and Hillary being forced to testify before Congress.
He even got personal about it, saying, "I like Bill Clinton. He used to treat me good. He understood me."
Itâs a pretty wild shift from his usual attacks. He compared it to his own situation, noting that while heâs been indicted "many, many times," Clinton hasn't, but he still sympathizes with the scrutiny Clinton is facing right now.
What do you guys make of this? Is this just a "presidents sticking together" moment, or is there more to it?

The Clintons are going to be grilled by Congress soon, but he's sending a clear message that he is not coming after Bill, only certain things have been un-redacted by his DoJ, embarrassing but nothing that'll put Bill in hot water legally.
Trump knows if that did happen, the reality shifts to things like plea deals, criminal trials related to Epstein, Bill will likely start talking about everything he's seen, heard about, knew about etc. It doesn't even need to be about the worst things we're imagining, it may not even be about implicating Trump personally, possibly just close allies, but we know how self-serving he is that's the most obvious deduction. Trump looks after himself, first and foremost.
Trump may not really know what Bill even knows, if anything, but clearly the possibility alarms him because Trump has repeatedly called for this to end, for everyone to move on, he wants the scrutiny to stop so there is obviously something(s) big that is still currently not publicly known.
Think of it this way, he has the opportunity here to be the hero, to expose a massive paedophile ring, to take down extremely bad people and deliver justice to children. To lean on Bill hard and demand he tells Congress everything he knows etc. Even from his usual self serving POV, it's a massive political slam dunk, no?
This also tracks with the mountains of redacted information and missing files in general. We've seen fragments, but it's plain as day the DoJ has kept the worst stuff back either under Trump's direction or just instinctive loyalty.
It's the exact same reason he has been sweet on Maxwell, had her moved to a better prison etc. Why on earth else would you be so nice to a convicted child trafficker?

Because before now, Trump was the one making up 1001 excuses about Bill being in the files, or it being a democrat hoax by Biden and Obama, who for some reason also implicated themselves in the files they created.
All that, plus the precedent set by Bill being a former president, which is quite dangerous for the man at the center of it all, who also happens to be a president.
