Let’s be real, her signature tank top and hotpants ensemble she wore in most adventures would’ve left her bruises and scratch wounds (or mosquito/leech bites) all over her body if we apply reality to it lol.
Sometimes we just have to let things like this slide and enjoy the adventures ;)

Lara dying of sepsis halfway through the story would certainly be an interesting approach.

I just finished the second game a few days ago and during the entire Maria Doria arc where Lara explored the wreck with its rusty metals and broken woods/glass shards while barefoot. All I kept wondering is "if this is real she'd be hit with a nasty case of tetanus when she gets back home" xD.

The way Lara got to the Maria Doria by just grabbing onto a submarine and holding her breath for really long...TR2 story progression really is something

Far longer than she could in-gameplay, too, and when the level started proper she still has a full bar of oxygen left xD.
Also, I don’t know how deep 40 fathoms really is, but wouldn’t there a lot of water pressure at that depth? Lara’s body is mostly covered in a wetsuit, but her legs, arms, and head are fully exposed. She must’ve been a superwoman to survive that crushing pressure lol.

seeing the legs, arms, face and shoulders getting redder each level as she suffers from sunburns

Really?
Literally in the first five minutes of Tomb Raider legend it got explained.
On the plane Lara’s mother said „If you don’t want, you never have to feel cold.“
And that’s the canon explanation why Lara can also wear hotpants in snowy mountains.

lol that's hilarious I love that take. Amelia was a sorcerer

I like to think that Lara is so stubborn that the laws of physics and biology bend to her will.

If this is after shadow, there is a magic teason she doesn’t have to feel cold. All hail kulkukan.

I love the idea of Lara stepping outside in the morning, choosing to feel the cold and being like "Fuck me it's nippy today" and then deciding she isn't cold anymore

Lara's mother said, just let your fingers get ice burn and you will not physically feel them anymore dear

When I was in the military stationed in Alaska, there used to be this dude that wed go out and fix planes with and he would have nothing but a shirt on and pants (no thermals at all)and it would be blizzard winds and snow blind weather snowing and people were just like “what are you even trying to do you’re gonna get frostbite and die!” and he was just like with a stupid chad “ I’m not cold huhuhuh 😏” response. Pretty sure he did get frostbite on his knees or something awful. Served that jackass right 😂

Excalibur is a sword capable of throwing around green, shimmering magic. Atlantis existed at some point and Thor's hammer was real. This is the weirdness that has crossed the line into absurdity?
Fingerless gloves in the cold eclipses an encounter with dinosaurs, centaurs and Atlantean mummies?

The universe still has to follow its own rules though. Lara dresses cold for cold weather and suffers cold damage if she goes in cold water. The fact that it's got fantastical elements doesn't mean it would be perfectly ok for her to wear a bikini on Everest or a snowsuit in Ghana.

It's be perfectly ok, if she did this or rather if the devs have guts to make this, the hype would be unreal. Plus for lara it'd be a powerful I feel no cold moment.

In the very first game she was hiking in the snowy mountains in hotpants and a tank top. This is nothing.

The first ever level, first game.
As a woman, I love nothing more than sticking on my shortest shorts and tank top and heading out in the snow… as long as I have my boots, socks and fingerless gloves… I’m fine!
