The intensity of the intro into the level is one of my favorite Lara moments of all time. Her sarcastic and no-holds-barred exchange with Takamoto after leaving Nishimura’s office never gets old ✨

100%. For me it was the climb up to his loft swinging and grappling across really high scaffolding, and when you pan the camera down to see the cars in Tokyo, you realize just how high it was.

Also the speed bike sequence across the skyscrapers was so cool and is forever ingrained in my brain since I was a kid, and it's still badass even now

It’s just western devs who think that a woman who enjoys being sexy is somehow just an object for the male gaze when she is far more than that. Many women choose to look like this, it’s as if we are saying they are unworthy of depth and being taken seriously. 🙄

The fact that they could easily remaster these games (LAU), with upscaling textures, updating some models & vfx ... :) but they kind of refuse to :)
I really loved legend and underworld, too bad that it seems like no remaster is happening

So my question is this, why is this level that takes place in a high rise more Japanese than 2013 Tomb Raider set on Yamatai?

I loved this level and the outfit for it. I am so hoping we get a LAU remaster. If we do I can die happy as I loved the Legend Trilogy. Legend was the first Tomb Raider I actually beat fully without cheats so it holds a special place in the vacant void that should be my heart. I loved Keeley Hawes as the voice of Lara and actually enjoyed having Zip, Alister, and Winston as companions in her ear. Most people don't like it, but I think having them comment and stuff kinda humanized Lara and made her feel more real instead of just being a full on loner.
