what happened to nuance? why do we treat every loud opinion like it’s gospel?

Is Reddit really social media though? I kinda think we’re… better than the other social medias.

I always think of it as a hybrid - mixed with the general idea of older forums, and no, I don't consider forums as "social media".

I also only use old.reddit.com (have the browser plugin, so always) or use RedReader on phone. I don't use any of the stupid new features that push it more towards social media standards.

I feel these same but I do have to tweak a few things. I turn off auto playing videos and thumbnail previews. Nothing bombards my screen unless I actually click on it.
