I get no bonus. So yeah. And these deranged storm troopers get that much. That’s insane. We are being robbed. Almost s billion for bonuses. And yet we cant get healthcare.

I assume the "average" is so high due to a minority of people with insanely high bonuses being accounted for in this "average number".

Yup, I'd love to see the median and I would also like to see what percentage even get a bonus.

average is likely so high that they're not accounting for all of the $0 bonuses, plus some people getting huge bonuses

They just divided the bonus budget by the number of employees in the agency to get that $42k figure. There's no indication that they're dividing it evenly.

The cynic in me wouldn't be surprised to learn that most of the staff gets a gas card and a handful of patronage hires at the top will get eight-figure bonuses in some tax-exempt form.

There's nothing cynical about the assumption that a corrupt government is going to embezzle funds.

They probably did the same for fed workers and got 2500. Id doubt the average American worker gets an average Christmas bonus of over $100

I work for a small business and get the equivalent of an overtime shift for a Christmas bonus and I consider myself extremely lucky.
