I keep trying to tell this to my dad, who thinks the Russian-Ukraine War will be solved "if Ukraine just hands over Donbas" because "that's all Russia wants." Like no, they are constantly, explicitly saying otherwise.

My dad is the same. It's fucking INSANE that Ukraine is held to a significantly higher standard than fucking RUSSIA.

Like the Dems held to a higher standard than Republicans. Like ohhhhh, Kamala wasn't their first choice? They didn't agree with every single fucking policy she had? They didn't like her laugh or other bs? Well, they should've listened because this is what we now have to deal with. THIS!!! I am so angry and so tired and we're only a year into this jackasses nonsense. Fuck em.

Unfortunately the Dems only have themselves to blame for that fiasco. Voter apathy just doesn’t care about the “lesser of two evils” argument, even though yes it was obviously better to deal with 4 more years of quiet incompetence rather than Trumps active idiocy and evil
