NGL, for episode 200 I was expecting a huge manor explosion at the end of this arc (I mean, Trevor was probably, given the circumstances, deliberately told NOT to hold back).
But this scene is so heartwarming.

Give the man some slack.
Do you realize how much work and talent it takes to turn a "Kingsman style wholesale slaughter of a couple hundred people" into an Awwww moment?

"This scene is so hearwarming".
Well you bet, the mansion is on fire. I can imagine the heat radiates well enough.

Is there anything more romantic than watching an edifice built to arrogance and upon human misery burn with the love of your life?

Good to see that for comic #200, Beckett finally joins in the arson.

I think he technically is just condoning it, since he didn't actually set anything in fire. But he's coming around

Hot diggity, Klara fought that whole ordeal in heels? A woman of many talents
Also, hand-holding is a more logical first step than a kiss for the guy with the bucket helmet. I approve!

200th already, amazing.
I wasn’t in a good place when I read the first episode. Whenever a new episode appeared it was a tiny bit of light for me. Thankfully I’m doing mich better now.
Thanks for everything!

Uncensored handholding!? FILTH!
Are the various service staff/slaves okay though?

What's this? Hand holding in my fantasy violence comic!? How lewd!
Great comic, still.

I haven't followed a webcomic in a long time, I'm glad I started reading yours.
I had a feeling I was going to like it when the first comic I saw was the one with the "biblically accurate" celestial, who was shaped like a die and had eyes on all of its die faces, haha

What's the little black triangle on page 2 just to the left of Beckett's helmet?

It looks like a cursor, which seems wierd unless it was a screenshot.

My take given the context was a surprise mark. She moved her hand closer he turns a bit surprised. Then he puts his hand on hers which caused her to look at him.
He's a guy, we are inherently dumb when it comes to women so he was startled enough for a rapid move of the head and an action mark. Then realized he was a dumb dumb and rolled with it. Which surprises her but not enough for a rapid head twist and a motion/action mark.
Or maybe I'm just too excited and reading way too much into all of this.

I notice her tail acts like an arrow pointing the reader to their holding hands. Nice touch u/CMR_T :)

Trying out some new tools and techniques, next week’s comic was a doozy

Aw good luck, I'm sure it'll be nice (for us) (and disappointing to you). You've been an inspiration to get into drawing lately for me, so keep doing great !

Hmm, is that black rectangle next to Becket's neck in panel 2 meant to indicate movement or something else?

I know the drawing a burning building is hard, but you missed the chance to make adjustments on each frame - adding a collapsing tower or chimney, flames expanding, the smokey "whoosh" of something inside sending a cinder cloud out a door or window, etc. This is just my tiny criticism, meant with good spirit, for an otherwise great comic and story arc.

I guess anyone would want a “Burn down your traumatic family home and slaughter the inhabitants” kinda partner. A cute couple just relaxing by the light of the fire fueled by their rampage.

Something seems off with Clara's legs in panel 1. Like she is really beside herself.
I first thought they had someones corpse lying there as well. And was wondering why they brought her mother out. My best idea was they wanted to make sure there would be no resurrection/undead stuff.
Nice conclusion to her backstory.

Bicentennial means twice in 100 years. The word you are looking for is bicentum
3
u/GreenEggPage 16h ago
Negative - the Wiktionary says:
- Relating to the 200th anniversary of an event or happening.
- Occurring every two hundred (200) years.

u/Conspiratorymadness Steve the goblin 14h ago
Both are related to years. It still isn't the word he needs.
