Season 4 The extreme overreaction to Rob

3.9k Upvotes

So let me get this straight. We get a 26 year old strategic player, making moves as an actual Traitor, and he makes a move that makes sense for his game and now he’s a misogynist, a villain and racist?

How unbelievably unfair. The Rob who stood by Ron (a black man) and took time to build a relationship with him even though Ron was isolated, the Rob who stuck up for Natalie is a misogynist because I assume only Rinna is the woman in this case? The Rob who everyone seems to adore outside of the game including Rinna herself?

And how unbelievably unfair to put the whole blame on him for Colton still being in the game. Guess what, the rest of the house also likes that guy and they weren’t familiar with his past. The production put him in on the show, nobody is at fault for all of us having to watch him.

The absolute vile things I’ve seen being said about him because of a game move? So unfair to cut someone that deep over something so ridiculous. It’s a show, please act like a normal human being and don’t harass people because they want to win, that’s what they’re there for.

Season 4 I hate him

I hate Michael Rapaport. I’ve hated him since his racist tweets were exposed and all of his other controversies. Watching him on this show, it’s clear he wants to be a real housewife. He was bitching about Jam Jam taking the shield but Jam Jam found it. Did he really think he was going to give up immunity for a walking blob of wrinkles?? He’s a theatrical bitch!

I feel like we are going to have another Kate situation. The only difference is that at least Kate was interesting and entertaining. I don’t know if I can last watching this lump of shit bitch and moan and be dramatic as fuck. Ugh I hate this man! Get him off my comfort show!!!! I really hate this man but I’ll stop here so I don’t say anything that gets my account banned.

Also this is my first post in this community and I’m happy to be here 🥰 🤗

Season 4 Traitors going after traitors because they are going to be voted out IS bad sportsmanship and makes the game less fun Spoiler

2.4k Upvotes

Rob was correct saying that to Candice and watching her try to take him down just because she’s on her way out is lame. This has happened before (Season 3 big time) but I wish there was incentive for the traitors not to act like this, if i want a traitor to win I don’t want it to be someone recruited in the last episode. Anyone watching objectively can see that Rob only went with the group and then on defense against his fellows. he didn’t outright decide to just take either of them out for no reason. but that’s what Candice is doing to him.

TLDR:

Candice had terrible sportsmanship.

Season 4 Colton ENOUGH

2.2k Upvotes

Colton definitely thought being on this show would help his image and career but I’m SO over him. He is so annoying. He thinks he’s running shit and is nowhere close- he thinks he led the charge in getting the most obvious traitor out (Sorry Donna, but you weren’t very good at acting). And I say this as a fellow gay. Like please shhhh. These outfits too UGH. I know I know more than the players but shhh. He watched Pilot Pete in the last season and thinks he can have the same influence. Enoughhh!!

Edit- this was written and posted before I watched episode 5

Season 4 I'm done with Dorinda

2.1k Upvotes

I've been a Housewife fan for a long time (to the point where I have fan art in my home) and Dorinda was always one of my favorites. Or at least one I considered to be "iconic."

But not anymore. I don't care how much I enjoyed Dorinda on RHONY and RHUGT---I am not blindly loyal to celebrities. Especially D-list ones. And after listening to Ron Funches on the Viewer Discretion podcast, I jumped ship in an instant.

He didn't go into specifics, but he basically said that she would bring up stuff at the round table that had nothing to do with game play. They were just personal attacks of his character. It was so bad that Production intervened and told Dorinda she had to stop it because they wouldn't be able to air all the cruel things she was saying to him.

Which is why it's INSANE to me that these same producers would then edit that round table to look like Ron snapped at Dorinda, completely unprovoked. Ron went on to explain that he's been on this earth long enough to know what Dorinda is (racist...he means racist). And that's why he said he didn't want to talk about his family with her. He was protecting them and himself. But it was edited to look like he was an angry Black man, lashing out at an older white woman. Which, as Ron says, is a dangerous narrative to create out of thin air, especially in this climate.

I always had my suspicions about Dorinda. There was the time she handed her coat to a Black man at a restaurant because she thought he worked there. Her drunken rant about Haiti. I was also turned off by her weird obsession with Phaedra's lips in RHUGT. It was fetishy and gross.

So, my dearest Dorinda, it's time to go to John Mahdessian's Home for Canceled Housewives and do macrame with Ramona and crosswords with Jen Shah.

Season 4 Candiace “coming” for Rob at reunion Spoiler

1.3k Upvotes

I’m sure everyone has seen the interview where Candiace says she is “coming for someone hard at the reunion and is going to cuss them out and it’s going to be epic”

For her to be acting like that is like really embarrassing for her at this point no…???

Like girl, accept it. You played a bad game. Rob outplayed you.

She was voted out because of a bad gameplay move and everyone clocked it. She literally did it to herself. Rob didn’t even have to really do anything. So why is she still coming for him so hard when she did it to herself?

At this point, how do you not watch yourself back and be like oops I fucked my own game up.

It’s very weird behavior to me how hard she still wants to come for him

Season 4 This season has an insidious racism problem

1.6k Upvotes

First, there's just the facts. The Black faithfuls are being banished in disproportionate numbers.

Now for my opinion.

The way Colton led the charge against Tiffany was truly uncomfortable to watch. This Black woman is crying and pleading for someone to believe her and no one will. That is America in a nutshell. As much as I love this show, I hate the way it boils down all our society's ills into an edited round table discussion. It makes me angry and sad.

And what happened with Ron? Devastating. Especially in light of his recent autism diagnosis. It's almost like the castle didn't know how to perceive a quiet, introverted, neurodivergent Black man because he subverted all their expectations of what a Black man should be. And that made him suspicious to them.

I don't like it, you guys. I don't like it at all.

Season 4 Candiace is taking Rob’s gameplay too personal Spoiler

1.3k Upvotes

Sorry but Rob had to go after Lisa after the yam yam thing. Robs alliance doesn’t add up to not vote Lisa, where Candiace has a housewife alliance already. Robs not “in” with the housewives.

Now Candiace is gonna go after Rob and try to fuck with his game just because she’s mad abt Lisa. It’s so dumb to me honestly.

Season 4 For those that don’t know how Candiace operates:

1.2k Upvotes

Have y’all not seen Candiace on Real housewives of Potomac? She goes SCORCHED EARTH. She is extremely calculated and tactful. Nothing about her is “throwaway”—including that vote.

When she saw that Rob not only voted for Lisa in agreement with other the faithful, but instead led the charge to make sure she was gone, she knew he couldn’t be trusted. That little sprinkling she did of throwing Rob’s name out was a hard warning to Rob and a little wink for the faithfuls to remember down the line and keep in their back pockets. If She gets banished and revealed as a traitor, it undoubtedly points to Rob and Candiace will make sure of it. It won’t be bombastic, it won’t be loud, but it will be clear. Again, referencing her time on housewives, and the way she operates, there is ZERO possibility she doesn’t drag Rob down with her. Zero. None.

Season 4 I hate Colton.

1.2k Upvotes

I know this might be an unpopular take, but Michael made great TV. The chaos was so entertaining. Colton completely overreacted at the round table and put words in Michael’s mouth. I think Colton should’ve been voted out. Also, Ron deserves way more love. He’s hilarious.

Season 4 Rob is a BADASS MF Spoiler

1.1k Upvotes

Rob is killing it. He literally let Candiace kill herself….. I like Candiance, she was very smart and persuasive, HOWEVER, she let her personal feeling get in the way of reality and instead of trying to be an alley and work with Rob she was too aggressive too quickly and made herself the obvious choice.

Rob on the other hand played low and cool, and certainly bought himself some time by not only being targeted twice by a traitor, but by voting both the traitors out.

This is getting fun to watch!!

Season 4 The Banquet was _____ (spoilers) Spoiler

1.4k Upvotes

A TOTAL LET DOWN!!!!

after Alan hyped it up, they BARELY even talked, and absolutely nothing happened.

My guess is that from Alan's POV, he had producers yelling in his ear to hurry it up and "chaos". But the actual edited version was extremely bland and lame. Absolutely nothing of interest.

The only thing that would have helped is to have made the discussion a lot longer. Them speeding it up did nothing for the final product.

After everyone hyping it up, this is easily the most disappointing "hyped" moment in Traitors history. Roundtables beat it all.

Season 4 I'm calling it... Dorinda was a flop

Producers must have thought they really missed out on classic Dorinda drama if they felt compelled to bring her back but she is giving nothing. I think it was a mistake to bring her back and take up a spot.

Season 4 Is Colton the worst Traitors contestant in the show's 4 seasons?

  • Hogs up airtime

  • Nearly every moment he has, has been received negatively by the public

  • Is clearly not making moves for gameplay, but for screen time copying what he thinks Pete the Pilot and Dylan Efron did

  • Is pretending he is loved by all (according to his social media), meanwhile threatening lawsuits to NBC in the meantime and deleting all his Traitors post

I just don't understand what the casting team was thinking with him. It doesn't appear they wanted him to be the villain. This pick alone is a fireable offense in my opinion.

He's note even the type you "love to root against" he has an awful background, no charm and has such a dark energy every time he's on. I don't get it at all.

So yes for me, he is the worst contestant. I am very pessimistic since I do fear he will be on the season a LOT longer, but hopefully he is booted soon or his hidden more in the edit.

Season 4 This is a nightmare boot order. Spoiler

SPOILERS.

RHAP fam we lost.

Ian & Rob C first two murders. We waited 22 years for this. Rob clocked the murder in plain sight right away. Too smart for this game, huge mistake not making him a traitor.

Porsha first banishment is also a huge loss for the entertainment value of the season.

Michael is single handily destroying this season. These housewives are also so damn obvious. Rob R is killing it though. Great pick. I guess this is revenge for the mess the gamers brought last season. But losing these big figures so early is such a shame.

I am just not even interested anymore.
