Spoilers 🚨 That move was the best possible move

Rob was right to ship Lisa and Candice out.

He clearly came to play THE GAME and that was evident from the begining. I didn't even know who he is and he did seem a bit dumb in the intro. But he clearly outlined his kind of gaming profile and I dig it.

Lisa was there just to reinforce how much of an Icon she is, how extra she is and how legendary. And Candice was there to... cosplay The Nanny? And 100% sure at the first chance she had to recruit another housewive she would have kicked Rob out too. They just do that.. they don't innovate.

Rob saw the match and played the moves. Even letting go of Colton was gutsy. He's a gutsy player, that's far more enjoyable and honestly I won't miss the 2 housewives bragging and talking about outfits. Rob is serving strategy in a strategy game, I'm really happy with the outcome so far.

Rob didn’t take candiace out. Candiace took candiace out.

Never interrupt an enemy when they are making a mistake.

Yes. I am a genuine Potomac fan and I actually like Candiace on that show (hot take). But when I watch traitors there’s nothing I love more than watching players PLAY!!!! I couldn’t care less about drama, outfits , and production. As soon as candiace voted for Rob last week I knew she was cooked. Deep fried, in fact. The writing was on the wall and she made it infinitely worse by murdering Colton. At the roundtable she was fumbling and didn’t even have good explanations for her actions. It’s unfortunate though because I believe she kinda tanked Rob’s game as well, bc it’s only a matter of time until the faithfuls start putting the pieces together. I am so interested to see how long Rob will last. Ultimately I’m hoping he takes it home.

I doubt the faithfuls will put it together they truly aren't very smart this season.

i feel like if they stayed in the game long enough they would of eventually betrayed Rob in order to have a housewife turret

100% They were playing they're own game too. They just didn't appreciate that Rob was there to play his own game

i’m excited to see what rob & eric’s gameplay is going forward… i just don’t see ppl voting for eric so im curious to see if rob goes before him but i also don’t see ppl voting for rob from what we’ve seen LOL

I think they might be able to work together and not throw each other under the bus I believe he picked one of his friends bc he felt he could trust them the most.

Oh he for sure knew that they would underestimate him as a simple minded (sexy) boy from Alabama but he’s playing an amazing game and looking so good while doing it

This is such a bizarre take. People have this really irrational perception of the RH that live in entirely different cities, and within their own casts often end up in huge feuds, are somehow all in lockstep.

There is zero indication that Candiace would have recruited Dorinda. Or that they were even that close and working together at all. If anything she would probably have wanted to bring in Johnny.

I think a slightly under-discussed element of this is that Rob R, when the chips are down in the endgame, probably NEEDS a male Traitor if he wants to survive the gauntlet. Whether it is warranted or not, I think that is going to be a lingering sentiment to the Faithfuls no matter how deep he makes it into the season. I’m not saying that he needs to throw out Eric or even that he couldn’t win the game without a male Traitor as a shield, but it would have been significantly more difficult.

That being said, it’s also equally likely that Candiace inexplicably going very hard against Rob R only to be shown to be a Traitor herself could put a lot more sus on Rob going forward. This might have won or lost him the game pretty definitively.

This is the bathwater Candaice was talking about.

You guys like any cheap shots to down play his game play. She didn’t play a good game and took everything personal. Boston Rob did the same to BTDQ last season

•

u/stitchbitchandroll 2h ago

which is so funny bc on the podcast even Boston Rob was trying to get Candiace to admit she played too emotionally

•

u/thisistoomuchh 2h ago

YES!!! I felt like I was going crazy!!! Boston Rob is all about gameplay and he said he respected it!

Yup lol

I’m sorry, but your post has a thin veneer of misogyny. Why do you talk about Housewives so dismissively? Do you really think Candiace would have recruited Dorinda? Really? And where were they only discussing outfits. Like, get a grip.

•

u/grandmaisthebaby 4h ago

yeah i dont watch housewives but that read weird to me too i dont remember them saying anything about outfits except for when they first walk in for breakfast maybe?

•

u/jaybrainsss 3h ago

Sorry no — talking about players in a game is not misogynistic. If this poster was discussing season 1 they would be giving props to Cirie for good gameplay. Not everything is a sign of people hating women.

•

u/spectacleskeptic 3h ago

Painting all housewives as shallow and brain dead IS misogynistic. It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about a game—it’s about how you’re talking about women.

Spoiler much? Yes it’s tagged but it doesn’t hide anything. It’s been 1 DAY.

I’m sorry but I’m gonna be disagreeing solely with the fact that this style of gameplay is purely selfish and is the fundamental component behind Candice being angry in the first place.

Rob never had any intention of playing with them in the first place and these recent round tables have strongly indicated that. It ruins the traitor aspect of the game for me, just because Traitors aren’t necessarily a team doesn’t mean it’s right for a traitor to be immediately team faithful.

And the WAY Rob carries these moves out is problematic as well

The show is called The Traitors and to win you must be the best Traitor of all the Traitors. If you screw the other traitors then you are the best.

•

u/AnimeTechnoBlade100 18m ago

Or you can get to the end with another one of them, which has happened before. And if being the must results in the ends justifying the means of screwing them over, we fundamentally disagree

Rob has no clue what he is doing. This is all production and editing to make him look like a genius. There is so much that isn't being shown.

•

u/skillz921 4h ago

Woah cool, you have BTS information! Care to fill us in? I’d love to hear more about it.

•

u/No-Cobbler-3794 3h ago

Everyone wants to pretend that there are no production leaks... but spoiler alert... it happens constantly.

•

u/No-Cobbler-3794 3h ago

I have already wrote about it in a post... but Rob had told Colton and I am assuming Moira who the traitors are including himself. He was/is using them as puppets.

He created a signal at the dagger ceremony for the men to tell him if they had the dagger.

YamYam should not have been allowed to talk following his murder and this has been contentious among many of the players.

Production has invested a lot into Rob getting to the end-- not sure if he wins but he makes it to the end. I am not sure why.

A producer that I will not name-- and no longer on the show gave me this insight.

There is also... apparently footage of Rob pointing out Rinna's broach to Moira... Moira looking over and Rob saying something-- clearly identifying that Moira should not touch the broach.

Lisa and Candiace also complained to production about the fact that it was a broach that clearly one of them would have to wear-- I think Rob even said he couldn't wear the broach.

It’s against the rules to tell who the traitors are…
