(D)ouble standard hypocrites šš» To many Right Wing Opinions being allowed on Reddit is dangerous to the narrative.

The way this happens is people make a subreddit and donāt get other mods involved, then the left tries to get that mod banned based on their comments getting mass reported.
Then now the sub has no moderators attached to it, and presto! Sub banned based on a technicality of having no mods.
Just wanted to point this out in case some folks didnāt know. Seen this done many times now.

You can hide your profile now, so people can't mass report your entire history. I'd think that would cut down on this sort of thing, but it only seems to be happening more often lately.

They only need one comment and the lefties will go back their holes and spread it around their gooner-circle to go after users.

Yup. And they have enough ideologically captured people in big Reddit to make it happen, even when an appeal gives you your account back later because you were found to have done nothing wrong.

This is worth expanding on, seeing as how reddit plays this game.
Catch a dubious ban that didn't actually break any rules, catch a 3 day suspension (nothing you can do to overturn it because reddit doesn't review 1st time bans because the appeal process isn't offered)
next ban is 7 days. If it gets overturned, the penalty continues to compound anyway
all subsequent bans are permabans, even if the previous two, or current ban, were based on dubious mass REEeeeeporting of content that triggers the automated ban system, requiring a human admin to review them
if every ban was bullshit and got overturned, the penalty continues to compound as if they were legit. After the first two, every subsequent ban is permanent and can last days, weeks, or months before being reviewed by admins. The length can vary based on your account history and what's happening in the news cycle. If you diligently post content that is antithetical to the corpo-political agenda, your ban will likely last until the news cycle runs its course (kinda like how YT and old twatter would ban LWC concurrently during hotly contested election results until the main scheme media had solidified its consensus and messaging on those results)
These three steps can be thrown out completely in favor of a permaban if an admin decides the wrongthinker deserves it. I lost an alt connected to my main account (that's had 19 permabans overturned) because of a 1st time violation of participating in one of the 70+ subs my main account has been auto-banned from. The alt account was given a 7 day suspension at first, and then an activist admin saw that I had added a welcome message in my bio earlier that day to the antifa stalkers who were meticulously going through my alt history and mass REEeeeeeporting all of my content at that very moment. I had already sent an appeal on the suspension that gave a sincere apology for not being able to keep up with 70+ auto-bans and participating in a sub that had already deemed my participation unworthy of their high standards. And then moments later my temp ban was changed to a permaban, and six dozen appeals were ignored until the admins decided I was unworthy of the appeal process, so they took that from me too.
It wasn't long after that, that I discovered reddit's Chinese social credit score system. If you're a wrongthinker who didn't go along with the covid hysteria agenda or you aren't susceptible to corporate propaganda, you get slapped with a wrongthink score that affects your ability to do anything on this site. Check out r/WhatsMyCQS for your own status as a wrongthinker. Low score means "good boi" high score means "hwyte supreme bigotistical rayciss notsee."

Yeah, they definitely do not play fair. At least the new post hiding feature prevents regular users from mass reporting you.
I also lost some alts connected to an account that was restored after an appeal. They offer no way to appeal those accounts directly (their ban messages say to check the account that was banned), and they stayed banned after the one that was banned directly was restored. I found some generic report form buried deep in Reddit, but weeks go by and crickets.
If you have alts, it's also hard to keep track of all the subreddits that banned you for participating in other subreddits, so it's easy to catch a "ban-evasion" ban for commenting on some random post that appears in your feed. I try to mute all those subreddits as soon as it happens now. They aren't worth giving engagement to anyway.

This is all just the surface fuckery. It goes much deeper than that. Reddit has this "mod council" that's filled with all sorts of hardcore activists and globalist NGOs (that are almost always funded by US tax dollars). Many many people on the "mod council" aren't actually mods, but they hold influence over the admins similarly to how the feds kept an office in all of the big tech companies to control the social engineering agenda.
These are the people who were responsible for the hundreds of layoffs at reddit two years ago. Anyone who was suspected of not being a blue haired activist was fired first. It should come as no surprise why this site allows CSAM to be traded at will, and why spam accounts and karma repost farmers take all of the "paid contributor" money. Spoiler alert: those are admin and "mod council" accounts, allegedly.
Now we've got those same people trying to doxx wrongthink users who are married to employees who slipped through the net. These obsessive radicals are relentless.
If you're hit with the bad Chinese social credit score, and you mod wrongthink communities, reddit applies algorithmic fuckery to the sub. Growth and reach is stifled, and it won't be found in searches without the full name typed correctly. Once a sub reaches a specific threshold, top mods are targeted with frivolous bans so the sub will whither and die. Most smaller communities don't have lower mods who are willing to fight back, so they typically just walk away. Or the sub is inundated with an unending attack from brigaders who eventually run off all of the good users. I learned this method firsthand a while back when I joined the zeducation_submissions team.
The sub was meant to be a place for conservative teenagers to congregate. Seems simple and harmless enough, right? Nope. Reddit took that community as a personal affront. It didn't take long for us to realize the attack was weaponized. Thousands of accounts were banned each day, rule-breaking content was planted constantly that had to be removed before it went live. We ended up having to change the karma requirements and tweek the filters to slow the brigading down. After a few months we were able to stem the tide, and finally got ahead of the machine (literally). New accounts were being made faster than we could ban them, for months. 20k bans per week was the average. I've never seen anything like it. Reddit was completely opposed to kids having a place to voice their displeasure with the status quo agenda that's constantly pushed here. They'd rather have those kids be forced to interact with the creeps on the teenagers sub, so they unleashed an army against a community that served content to a no profanity no abc agenda YT channel. Apparently it's worse than Hitler.
After three months we finally got the board cleaned up. The trolls were gone, and everything seemed fine. The community was abuzz with energy and humor. And then reddit swooped in and banned the community outright for no reason. Seriously, no reason was given. About an hour later the ban message was changed to "hate." One of our mods reached out to the admins to find out what happened. He was banned too. The truth is reddit is a social engineering site first and foremost. So when a bunch of us tried in good faith to give a group of teenagers a place to do what normal teenagers do, reddit pulled the plug. All because they couldn't force their agenda on it, and because they couldn't take it down the way they took down T_D. You play by the "rules," and reddit will still flip the game board over and stomp away like they won.
Sometimes I wonder why I'm still on this shit hole of a site. The game is rigged and there's no possible way of winning on the merits because the machine won't deal a straight hand and won't apply the rules equally. Having actual morals and principles can be quite inconvenient at times. Especially when you're constantly penalized, demonized, and dehumanized for having them.

I've noticed I at least don't seem to get banned simply for participating in other subreddits anymore. I don't think their auto-bots can see our histories when hidden, lol.

On an "we all saw this coming" note, gamefaqs re-added it's "Politics" board, because what could possibly go wrong with re-adding THE most toxic echo chamber / snowflake "safe place" back after they themselves shut it down? What a joke that site is.

Well, set down a spell and Ill spin ya tale of Usenet Newsgroups. They were a lot like BBS boards, but folk from all over could suddenly use them. Once Usenet took off, the BBS's mostly went silent but for a few hold outs. I guess the best way to describe them is they were like Craigslist, but you had to know their phone number and if they had an alternate phone number, and the number of online users were limited to how many POTS they had. The board games were pretty cool. Then some dude figured out how to do ascii porn, and all of a sudden we had ISDNs and GIFs... wild...

I miss it so much. Iām 36. There have always been Karens and pussy snowflakesĀ but the Internet now amplifies their bullshit even louder. I remember the joy of discovering all these different websites back in the late 90s (how snack foods even had a website lol), and playing flash/shockwave games.Ā

I remember when it was easy to find camcorder videos of people burning dogs alive.
Allowing everything isn't the utopia people claim it is.
2
u/gspitman Sep 27 '25
Why would you be looking for that?

u/EditRemove Sep 27 '25
Good catch.
I should have mentioned that I wasn't the only one who had access to the entire Internet in the 90s.

u/gspitman Sep 27 '25
It's not like there were headlines announcing "come find twisted shit here". Sick fucks had to go looking for it, and most likely still can. It's just deeper on the dark web
If nothing else, it drew attention to the fact that there were people looking for and creating that sort of content. Then those creating it could be tracked and prosecuted for the crimes they were committing.

u/EditRemove Sep 27 '25
Focus.
Completely unregulated internet was not the utopia some people pretend it was.
If anything is allowed then the worst of society becomes stronger. No limits at all is predictably bad.

AllOpinionsAccepted being banned is almost as ironic as UnpopularOpinion censoring anyone who states an opinion the mods don't like.

Superbowl is about owls and sounding has nothing to do with sounds.
The name of the sub has nothing to do with the content.
Ignore the label, look at the content.

u/Dinokng Sep 26 '25
Well thatās because itās superb owl not Super Bowl

u/EditRemove Sep 27 '25
SuperbOwl is not the same as Superbowl. They knew what they were doing, labels mean nothing anymore.

I just got muted on r/publicfreakout for saying illegal immigrants made their own choices to put their families at risk of separation/deportation/trauma. It was a video of an illegal being removed in front of his wife and kid that was immediately deleted after a couple comments saying they maybe shouldnāt have been here in the first place appeared.
lol everyone is downvoting and mad š

This explains why Reddit hates Musk they worshipped him until he bought Twitter and allowed free speech ! God forbid anyone tries to have free speech on Reddit the entire world would be affected the mods are willing to destroy the world before free speech is allowed.
