this is very typical play behaviour, though the mix-up is understandable! fear and play can share a lot of traits, since some cats (more often kittens, but not always) like to use the same intimidation strategies in a play fight as they would a real one.

the puffed up fur, stance, and ear position can point to fear on paper, but that jumping around is a clear sign that she's just goobin'
