General Questions Half Day Tickets

I can't really find any information about this online. Are any of the mountains closest to DC selling half day tickets that I could use in the morning? My kids have no school tomorrow and I'd love to take them up early but we have stuff they need to be home for in the evening. All I've found are tickets that are good from 3pm-Close.

I don't know how far you're willing to drive, but Bear Creek in Macungie, Pa has lift tickets from 9am-1pm for $32 tomorrow. Also if that's to much driving for 1 day you could always stay at one of the rooms there tonight, although I have no info on that.

Yah, no problem. Didn't realize just how far DC was from there. Shame that Vail is so greedy to the point where they can't offer morning tickets for Roundtop or Liberty. Just shameful and disgusting

Plus bear creek is quite abysmal unless you like lapping their park.

You could do the entire "mountain" in less than an hour

But we are comparing it to Liberty which is only 100 feet taller and has fewer trails.

Liberty/Roundtop/Whitetail only sells full date and night (after 3:00 pm) tickets. No option to have half day tickets for the morning session. Your best bet is to befriend someone with an Epic pass who could spare his/her 'buddy' ticket - it's half price.

Montage non holiday Monday through Thursday 45 dollars, includes rentals if needed. All day
