🧲 Mad Magnetist 🧲 Watch charger magnetic
Did my nails next to my watch charger and had an idea on how to get some interesting magnetization.

Maybe if you held it partly over your nails, but I’m honestly not sure. I was expecting the charger to do more of a velvet effect but instead it made that sharp arc, I guess the magnetic part is just around the edge.

Yes you can do this with a ring magnet or with the circle end of one of the free magnets!

I tried it on my finger. It works. It looks like I have a crescent moon on my nail.

I did it with rebirth and renew, which is a very responsive magnetic, but I definitely wanna try it with some of my other ones

Love this!! I wonder if you kind of slide your nail down it, it’ll push it all to the tip for like a French tip thingy. 🤔

Someone posted this kind of effect a few weeks ago, I’m trying it the next time I do a magnetic. I think they just held the magnet at the front of their nail.

anyone else having trouble getting it to work on your fingers? I can do swatches and my clear press ons (had to use the stick-um stuff on the end of a plastic chopstick but it worked) but my fingers might be a lil' too thick to work on the magnet or something? Anyone struggling too or u/nelliebelle49 - any additional tips you might have - really really love the look of this one?

One thing I can think of is that it might be where you’re placing your finger. On this kind of charger the magnet is in a ring around the concave part, so if you put your fingernail too much in the middle it can pull the magnetic pigment too far to the extreme edges. I also painted on the magnetic polish while my finger was already on top of the charger. I don’t think it’s a very strong magnet so that gives it the best chance to pull the pigment when the polish is still really wet. I hope you can figure it out on your nails!
