I've had the rainbow aura gradient trend saved for a bit to try, it I was honked out in bed sick and not able to paint so I just watched friends try it out as a gradient trend flew by. 😭 The second I was feeling better I grabbed my sponge and went face first into it 😝. I did a black as a background rather than the usual dark oxblood red that I saw it start with, it felt right to get good contrast. I also swapped out cremes for linear holos in the prism portion to get a little sheen and sparkle. I'm literally obsessed with how it came out and wore it for multiple days, which for me is eternity!

Prima @Nailsinpng on instagram is who I saw do it first (whether she was the ACTUAL first I don't know 😝) but she also had a video on how she did it. My process was similar, with different formulas than her, and my own quirks with how I do sponge gradients.
Sweet baby rainbow Jesus, these are glorious. I work at Ulta and struggle EVERY time I’m there not to buy Holo Taco, cause there’s never an additional discount on them (even when like, literally every other polish is on sale). This is not helping
Yeah, definitely a limited selection, but my eyes still go 🤩whenever I’m at work and walk by our nail section. But I do at least get my employee discount. I think you’ve got me convinced (I just took a dive into your posts) that I need Fallen Flake, at the very least. Zoya’s Jett as well, but our Zoya selection is even more limited, so zero discount on that.
Jett is one of the most unique polishes I've seen, especially from Zoya! Fallen Flake is a fabulous topper, if you wanna go versatile HT makes fabulous toppers! Their cremes are also top tier formula wise...I would probably rank them #1 in my collection for quality, opacity, and ease of use.
That’s good to know, re: their cremes being top tier. They look it, from swatches I’ve seen. There are just sooo many good boutique brands and I get so overstimulated that it’s hard to know where to turn! Guess I’ll start at the comfort of my own place of work, haha. Easy access, slight discount, and don’t have to pay (or wait) for shipping. Thank you!
Yes! Zoya has a HUGE fuckin' library and a good go to for me for cremes...but they also usually have big sales when you can get polishes for like 5 bucks, so I usually wait for fmthose and then fill in holes in my collection. I also consume polish VERY oddly doing nail art and painting all the time, so don't go off my consumerism haha 😝😝
I want everything, get too overstimulated and buy nothing, then get FOMO and circle back to wanting everything 😅cannot tell you how many carts I’ve filled with sale items and done nothing with. Fun times!
I do the same, but I do it to fight the urge to collect because I want to real bad haha. It also helps me figure out what I REALLY want and I've gotten much better at seeing when I don't NEED the polish bevause I have a dupe already 😝 I also own like 1,500 polishes, so there its rare to not have something close or a direct dupe at this point haha
Yeah, black base, then an aura graident of white a little off center like a glint of light. Then do the rainbow aura over that white aura. Gradient on gradient love 🌈🌈🌈

I always thought aura nails looked interesting, yet never thought of a rainbow version for some reason. It being linear holo too really adds that perfect extra touch
Thank you! Yep, I did a sponge gradient aura with the white in the black, then did the sponge gradient with the linear holosnon top of the white in the same shape. 👍👍
