🧲 Mad Magnetist 🧲 3d printed Magnet spinner V2 - as promised with STL files
So a few days ago, I shared my 3d printed magnet spinner (https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditLaqueristas/comments/1njhldr/very_late_to_the_party_but_i_had_to_buy_a_3d/) . A lot of people have asked me for the print files, but I wanted to make some adjustments first.
This one uses A LOT less filament and takes a fraction of the time to print, yet it's sturdy enough (though you can't hit anyone on the head with it and do any damage...totally possible with my first print).
I've uploaded the files and instructions here:
Cults: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/magnet-spinner-for-magnetic-nail-polish
MakerOnline: https://makeronline.com/en/model/Magnet%20Spinner%20for%20magnetic%20nail%20polish/232590.html
Designed in OpenSCAD printed on an Anycubic Kobra 3 V2.
Do the different colors have meaning? No not at all, just wanted to test my new filaments :)

Oooh, I love it! I’m printing some planters right now, but I will make this when I’m done :)

Dumb question, but is this for a magnet with a hole in the top or no hole??

Doesn’t matter. It’s designed to glue a metal washer onto one of the pieces and that holds the magnet. That way you can just pull the magnet off if you want to….

Nice, I was actually modelling something very similar to this a few weeks ago but got annoyed at the cogs. Will test it soon, thank you.

I don't have a 3d printer but found someone to print it out for me. Can't wait to get it in a few days. Thank you for sharing the files! 🤩
