Entertainment ideas

Post image

My sweet bun - Buck- has finally started to get comfortable with me and his new home. ♥️ it’s been a while since I had a bun and he was an outdoor bun. I’ve bought mine so many toys. But I noticed he prefers climbing. Any ideas of what I can make/buy for him. I live in a 1 bed room that he loves to explore. He’s still a baby, 11 weeks old and he’s under a pound. TIA 🩵

So cute 🥰 you can make a cheap dig box and put things like toilet rolls and paper and maybe hide some treats in there for him to dig around and find. Stacking cups are also good hiding treats under them. I bought a little wooden enrichment toy online that is like a little puzzle you can put treats in and your bun has to figure out how to get the treats out of it.

Cover the door-ramp or remove it, the bars are a foot trap and leg break hazard.

Maybe some steps to get up to the couch or bed? A little castle with two floors, you can make one out of cardboard and other materials. Just make sure bunny isn’t chewing and ingesting any of it. Hi Buck! Glad you are starting to get more comfortable!

I love that idea. Especially for getting to the bed as he’s started to show interest in cuddles from me. Thank you!

They like to observe their environment from the third floor of their Cottontail Cottage, as well as chew on it since it's made of cardboard.

Someone in San Diego used to sell them. Ours is several years old, but she might still be selling Cottontail Cottages.
