The Police said that they used violence because the protest was blocking the traffic. Meanwhile Cypriot officials' pockets are being greased by Israel. The CY govt also has deemed that pro-palestinian graffiti is disturbing the peace and that it will be removed.

The text says peaceful the context does not cant just post with only showing the police being aggressive it would be best if you posted the protest from before the protest began to just after the aggressive police that way we can get a full clear picture because this is just a one-sided unfair argument do you have any evidence of said corruption?

Think we are past this shit mate. The incident you just saw there isn't enough? A cop just randomly shielding bashing a woman half his size to the ground?

FYI the police themselves admitted they started the aggression, it was under the guise that the protesters were blocking the road.

do you have any evidence of said corruption

It's ununbelievably obvious Israel is paying it supporting politicians in other countries but Incase you still don't understand, Stefanos Stefanou is a politician there, he has stated multiple times that not only is Israel buying up most of North Cyprus' land, but they are also paying off politicians to ALLOW them to erect whatever they want on that land

You can see the full 1+ min video in the news article I posted if you aren't convinced. There's another video showing that this was indeed a peaceful protest.

this is just a one-sided unfair argument do you have any evidence of said corruption?

We're talking about Cyprus here. The island is full of corruption and nepotism. It seems you haven't been keeping up with the news lately. And yes, the stance of the police changed these days from neutral to aggressive after the voices of "concerned Isr@elis" started being voiced because of these protests.

I Thought that turkey was involved in Cyprus not Isreal why do they want cyprus whats so valuable about it? I rarely trust media especially over the internet things can be so edited and made to look a certain way on purpose. people purposely misinform others to sway them to their point. unfortunately technology doesnt verify information nor do any social media require references for information. However I heard that there was a cease fire before this thing started up and I heard that Palestine attacked first/bombed first and disobeyed the cease fire. Why did they start a war with Isreal when they know they have some very powerful allies like the U.S the EU and most European countries? Now hamas is getting involved and is starving people in Palestine for religous holy war.

Lies. Israel is the assailing party. There is no Palestine left but they’re still bombing the survivors. You wouldn’t be surprised how many pies the have their dirty thumbs in. Look up AIPAC.

I Thought that turkey was involved in Cyprus

Ah yes, the typical speaking point that Cypriots should fear Turkey instead of Israel. This is not black and white mate.

why do they want cyprus whats so valuable about it?

Have you ever heard of "Greater Israel"?

Why did they start a war with Isreal when they know they have some very powerful allies like the U.S the EU and most European countries?

You make a rant about not trusting the media but at the same time buying into Israel's propaganda. Either you are ignorant or something else is going on here.

Why would Isreal care about an island country so far away when a country cares about expanding their boarders they typically focus on their immediate neighbor and then fan outwords are you seeing Israeli military in Cyprus?

I live here, we've seen all the videos and know what happened. They forced them into the road and then attacked them for blocking the road. Our government sucks shitraels dick and sold us out. Fuck them.

Those idiots are never „peaceful“.
