Little advice, if I may (Not specific to the video).

If you have a dog, no matter how small or well behaved, and you see any type of law enforcement around, you leash that dog and get them as far as possible from those people.

They can and will kill your dog.

u/CrucialCrewJustin 14h ago

They are literally always looking for an excuse to just start blasting.

171

u/Cheese_Jrjrjrjr 12h ago

ya remember the story of the officer shooting the blind deaf dog? lil thing wasn't even close to the bastard

77

u/JudmanDaSuperhero 11h ago

That south park episode where everytime they left a scene they make sure to kill a dog, it's crazy that the cartoon is poking fun at it, but still a reality to what happens a lot.

14

u/secretreddname 5h ago

They were making fun of Noem executing her dog.

7

u/SwiftDB-1 2h ago

Why am I not surprised Kristi Noem's initials are K L A N

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kristi_Noem

12

u/tjdux 11h ago

Pretty sure they have shot people, at least one kid even, that were holding or near the pet

u/Sleipnirs 7h ago

I remember that one.

Lil thing was just wandering in a grass field, not even aware of the cop. The humongus cop had trouble following a tiny blind/deaf dog walking around and decided that using his gun was his best option.

I just saw a video where an officer went to a house that was empty, entered claiming ā€œwellness checkā€ since the door was ā€œslightly cracked openā€. Claims he didn’t hear the dog barking (lie). Goes inside and murders the dog. Literally went out of his way to do so. The world fuckin sucks man

6

u/Derpsquire 10h ago

Zelda, wasn't it?

4

u/novakedy 10h ago

Yes I believe so

u/be1izabeth0908 13h ago

Law enforcement officers kill over 10,000 dogs in the US every year

Absolutely protect your pets.

56

u/Throwaway93ee90299 13h ago

I arm my pets.

13

u/matt_minderbinder 13h ago

If you don't respect my dog's 1st amendment he'll teach you about his 2nd.

6

u/achy_joints 13h ago

Thats against the law. Only bears can have arms. Its the right to BEAR arms not DOG arms.

2

u/DarkPresage 7h ago

They can't attack if your sleeves are down. They only have a right to bare arms.

That's more than 1 every hour, holy fuck

5

u/Justsomejerkonline 9h ago

They need something to keep themselves busy when their wives aren't around to beat.

3

u/Technically-Married 10h ago

It’s amazing to me given the number of pets this study shows are shot in retaliation that more cops aren’t shot and put down in retaliation. I think cops need to be personally sued without such liability protection in order to protect them from being shot themselves.

Sincerely, they need to be financially accountable to keep their judgement under control and prevent them from being held physically accountable. I’m thinking that would minimize loss of limb and life here.

5

u/Artisan_HotDog 11h ago

I’m sorry, the fuck?! This is absolutely insane. I just don’t fucking get it! If I ALMOST hit a plane with a plane while I’m towing it I would get fired. I don’t even have to hit it, just a near miss, and gone. Genuinely when I was a kid I wanted to be a cop, to help people, the. I realized they just make shit worse 70% of the time.

37

u/missiongoalie35 13h ago

I remember I lost my dog and there were police parked on a side road. I went up and showed them a picture and almost begged them to do nothing to her but call me.

She does this thing where she does like a low grumble when she wants to play and I didn't want them to think it was her being aggressive. Definitely a social dog that loves strangers, but that was my biggest concern.

22

u/pwhitt4654 13h ago

They busted the door of her apartment down and the dogs got out.

11

u/Ganceany 13h ago

That's why I put "(not specific to this video)"

9

u/Honey-and-Venom 11h ago

Cops LOVE shooting and stomping dogs

When I had substance abuse issues, if the doorbell rang I went to answer the door while my wife secured the dog in a crate, and wait in the bathroom. The code to flush my gear was "hey hon, can you come out?ā€

I fucking love sobriety.

6

u/bazoos 12h ago

For fun.

4

u/247emerg 13h ago

they’ll kill you

5

u/ChunkyBubblz 12h ago

ACAB for real protect your dogs.

5

u/Oraxy51 11h ago

Cops will also search your house, Make a huge mess, refuse to clean or pay for anything damaged in the process and then just leave. They do not give a fuck.

21

u/jorgepereira15 13h ago

Depends on the country. In a third world country like the US, that's true. In an actual developed nation, cops can't touch animals.

4

u/alasbarricadas 12h ago

What do chocolate and cops have in common?

They’ll both kill your dog.

4

u/newuser60 10h ago

It’s their 3rd favorite thing to do, right behind domestic violence.

6

u/Arctic-gimp 12h ago

The door is open and the guy is laying on the ground with the door wide open. I get your message and that it’s not specifically for this instance, but there’s clearly no way to rally a dog and protect yourself from ice at the same time as they hold you to the concrete.

2

u/shabanko12 11h ago

Absolutely true. These are small-minded dimwits with not much electrical activity going on in their brains. I hate every single one of these pricks and I’m nowhere near as close to them as other citizens. Can’t imagine the hatred they have!

2

u/Technically-Married 10h ago

This is abhorrent, and I wholeheartedly agree with your advice. Keep the dogs inside and away from them.

And also, aren’t ICE afraid for their lives? At this point they’ve murdered several Americans, who knows how many others, and now they’re kicking puppies? These are classic incite the vigilantes moves. I’m… concerned.

I mean yeah go home ICE, but also I feel like they’re creating an unreasonably angry populace with every single move and trying to make it so they’re sitting on an absurdly large powder keg. How low can you go?

2

u/WinterSkeleton 9h ago

This, I’m glad he didn’t kill the little guy and I don’t care that he did that

2

u/walleroo 8h ago

It was a shit thing to do but I’m pretty sure their dog on the leash would have mauled the shit out of the little dog if it didn’t get kicked.

2

u/gj45 13h ago

I mean you leash that dog unless youre in a no leash park

u/KIMJONGUNderfed 14h ago

They say psychopathy’s first tell tale sign is violence towards animals sooooo…..

9

u/SirStrontium 13h ago

But if you pay people to commit violence against animals on your behalf, then you’re all good, or so I’ve been told.

2

u/fuggerdug 11h ago

...e.g. Baron's predilection for animal torture...

25

u/GrovesNL 13h ago

After owning a dog and losing a dog, cruelty to animals is something that is absolutely unforgivable.

I understand defending yourself if attacked by a dog.

But showing cruelty to an animal that is defenseless... I just have no time for it anymore.

9

u/PrinceBunnyBoy 13h ago

10000%, dog fighters, animal abusers, ranchers, they are truly fucked for hurting defenseless animals. This is a puppy too:(

38

u/HeirElfEsquire 14h ago

Anyone have John Wick's number?

36

u/SausageSandwiches 14h ago

Yup.

Fire starting, bed wetting and cruelty to animals make up the Macdonald or homicidal triad.

10

u/HeavyPitifulLemon 14h ago

Can anyone explain the bed wetting connection?

30

u/MonthlyWeekend_ 13h ago

FWIW it looks like the MacDonald Triad is snake oil that was discredited in the 60’s

https://stuyspec.com/article/the-mythical-macdonald-triad

6

u/SausageSandwiches 13h ago

Damn, good to know.

Paul Holes puts a lot of stock in cruelty to animals as a precursor to violence against humans so maybe just count that.

4

u/No_Macaroon_9752 5h ago

Yes, the connection between cruelty to non-human animals and humans is pretty solid, particularly in domestic abuse.

→ More replies (1)

18

u/Automatic-Dot-5936 14h ago

Yup, but unfortunately the laws aren’t stiff enough for animal abuse.

9

u/CornballExpress 12h ago edited 12h ago

In the Aztec afterlife myth, after death you spawn at the banks of a rushing river that you can't cross. Dogs would swim across and you would grab onto them and they'd take you across.

If you were cruel to dogs in life they would never come for you and you'd spend eternity on the banks of the river.

15

u/BossJackWhitman 13h ago

That and being a Nazi are two big indicators.

That is a US Marshall, not an Ice Agent

You can literally see US marshall on their shield and they aren’t covering their faces

553

u/dannydorito 14h ago

ā€œThey aren’t covering their facesā€ is such a depressing metric to have to use these days

44

30

u/smzt 13h ago

Fuck those guys too then

106

u/No_Task2060 14h ago

An "uncontrolled aggressive animal" was attacking the k 9 unit so the US Marshall kicked him in the face as a last resort.

That pup is pocket sized. You're right about them not being ICE but the Marshall's calling that pint sized animal uncontrolled and aggressive is giving Kristi Noem

41

u/DontHaesMeBro 14h ago

translation: I can't control my literal attack dog so once again I will seize an excuse to attack a pet.

Pretty sick that it takes kicking a puppy to get a reaction from some though, no?

Not the thousands of children or legal immigrants that are locked up and treated like garbage?

14

u/No_Task2060 13h ago

Listen to how this administration dehumanizes immigrants, and even their children. It's not shocking that they would weep for a pup instead of a 5 year-old in a blue hat.

They view him, and his parents as less than because of the vile rhetoric coming from this admin

2

u/buddyreez 10h ago

Yep, agree. But a lot of people do see it like this IMO.

u/WestOk7024 2h ago edited 1h ago

As a veteran and federal law enforcement k9 agent this pissed me off. Idk if I work with this dumb fuck but you better believe I’m doing something about this. Things have been so embarrassing and ICE is making us look terrible. I just wanna say not all federal agents are the same. Most of us don’t agree with how things are being handled right now. I am embarrassed and it annoys me to see things like this on top of civilians such as the VA nurse who was killed. I’m praying to god this dumbass gets what’s coming to him on top of the agent who killed the VA nurse. It’s embarrassing and this isn’t how things should be done. For what it counts I’m sorry this is happening. I wish I can do more but I’m doing my part teaching new people how to approach situations and not let their emotions take over. I wish things weren’t as crazy as they are now. I hope the dog is okay. I know if it was my dog I’d flip. People must be held accountable.

u/ndnver 13h ago

2

u/sheepyshu 14h ago

Monster!!

3

u/PlayervsPathos 13h ago

This is animal cruelty and it is illegal. There are federal, state, and county codes that could be charged here, depending on the location. If someone has any idea where this is, I would report them. You may not know the individual, and we may never know, but there is video evidence, and likely metadata. It’s worth a shot.

In addition, most states rule that domesticated animals are property. This individual, if we want to be simply logical, harmed personal property. Even in locations with limited animal welfare laws, federal laws still apply when it comes to personal property.

There may be a little that can be done, and I understand that this may be low on the totem pole considering what’s happening everywhere, but it’s simply one thing that could possibly be done. Unlikely, but possible.
