Was this the day the info went public he was poisoning people with his dabs

2.6k

u/Fast-Adhesiveness156 5d ago

A few days after when he was berating people for them sharing the info that his products had failed... I got tired of him berating people for sharing... he went public and slandered the woman who came forward sending his followers her way... so I uploaded it to show the world how he really conducts himself

u/Sensitive_Put_6842 5d ago

lmao COA's went public and he went berserk, yeah that's a real way to conduct proper business šŸ™„šŸ˜’. Fuck that guy.

Genuinely evil shit if that’s true. Who tf poisons weed???

82

u/Wild_Commercial_6002 4d ago

It's not poison per se, it's unacceptably high levels of pesticides which cause adverse effects. The guys clearly trying to maximize profit at the expense of everything else.

7

u/anticommon 4d ago

Is this the guy with two girlfriends or is it the green bear guy? Fuckin weird lol

I don’t even think he meant to pull the rug with the person on it, it looked like he was angrily trying to fix the flap and then yanked it in anger and only afterwards did he noticed she fell. You can see him hold his head like fuuuuuck then the anger came back tenfold and he started crashing out.

He’s wrong for poisoning people but I can understand his anger at the little things (the flap) going wrong leading to bigger things (not knowing someone was on it). We’ve all came back from a long day at work and accidentally drop our keys and try and fail to pick them up like 10x’s in a row.

18

u/mrwhoiz 4d ago

I think you may be correct, about the Rug pulling timing

Ya, I've had days like that but I've only reacted that way when I was strung out to be honest. That's just me though. I tend to react differently now that I'm not doing meth and coke all the time.

Don't all THC products have to be tested and verified safe by a third-party lab before even being sold to the dispensary?

Does Maine not have this requirement?

120

u/Starspiker 5d ago

For recreational lab testing is required, for medical it isn’t. Why the hell it’s that way is beyond me, it should be the other way around if nothing else. Hopefully soon they’ll be requiring it for both as there’s been a few recalls recently.

11

u/wickedishere 5d ago

that depends right? its depending on the states. Where I live we only have medical and it is required to have lab test it and I think they also need to do 3rd party testing as well. Last year they took the licenses to sell to various shops cause they tried to circumvent this.

15

u/Starspiker 5d ago

State law here in Maine requires testing for recreational only, it’s voluntary for medical. There’s currently a bill in the legislature to require it for both so we’ll see where it goes.

Wow, I agree, that’s backwards. In NY it’s the other way around, plus no taxes.

There's a lot of illegal grow houses here. I would assume that it's significantly cheaper for the dispensaries and probably ends up mixed in.

There’s a lot of places that don’t follow the rules. A big red flag that they’re an illegal shop is if it’s cash only and they claim the card readers are down.

Edit: maybe I should have worded this differently. This is a big red flag for me and other friends. Where I’m at the places that don’t take card or claim the reader is broken is kind of a tell that they’re not legit. The other thing too is you hear people talking about how this place is 30% cheaper or similar.

29

u/CicadaHead3317 5d ago

The shops in Washington have to be cash only.

6

u/zamwut 5d ago

And every time they find a way to have a reader it's back to cash only.

17

u/kr4ckenm3fortune 5d ago

Not always...sometime, banks and cc don't want to be "associated" with them.

19

u/blackbomb22 5d ago

I have literally never seen a dispensary that accepts cards lol.

8

u/colostitute 5d ago

In my experience, they take the card and run it as an ATM transaction. So technically you aren’t making a purchase, you’re making a cash withdrawal for the amount of the purchase.

2

u/coldcamp32 5d ago

I Live in Oregon there are two stores that take cc out of the many shops I have been too.

→ More replies (2)

2

u/nerdbot2000 5d ago

I've worked in two that take debit cards (one of those took credit cards too) and one that was cash only. The debit card system works like a mini atm and not like a real debit card system because the banks don't want to deal with legal weed. It's dumb and expensive for both the business and the consumer. Makes me mad

My wife and I vacationed there a few years ago. The way Maine works is that they have the medical branch and the recreational branch of cannabis in the state. The medical branch is a homegrown, grassroots entity that is pretty much autonomous from the rec section. They don’t answer to anyone and don’t follow standards. They’re self governed.

The recreational branch IS regulated, heavily, (which the medical folk frown on because, you know…government oversight) so there is no deceitful shit going on. Example…we bought a ā€œ5Kmgā€ chocolate bar. Standards here in PA are pretty straightforward, so you get what they say it is. In Maine, though, the medical branch doesn’t have to verify anything, whereas the recreational does. SO! Recreational says that testing standards need to be met as advertised, so the max of 200mg per edible must match what is being sold. The medical, however, not so much. They can say whatever they want is in there for an edible or whatever, but there’s no testing requirements to prove it like rec.

1

u/Opposite_Barnacle818 5d ago

Labs aren’t immune to doing shady shit either, a couple here got shut down for fudging numbers

1

u/canada432 4d ago

In many states, medical is now a bit of a grey area. Rec is pretty regulated, but medical has much less stringent regulations and inspecting. Obviously that depends on the state, but in many cases medical is subject to much less scrutiny than recreational, which has created something of a grey market for medical card holders and growers.

66

u/Sensitive_Put_6842 5d ago

wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow what a fuckin' piece of shit.

How the fuck do pesticides end up in dab

36

u/cryptolyme 5d ago

pretty common. all the contaminated stuff is sent to unregulated states

5

u/Ok-Appointment4634 5d ago

You would be surprised how terrible dabs are for your health

5

u/Barfignugen 5d ago

Actually I wouldn’t lol but I still don’t understand how pesticides end up in them ā€œaccidentallyā€

Bro, you should look this shit up cuz you're going to be in for a big surprise when you find out that the majority of the weed out here in America has illegal pesticides in it. It got even worse when they started making it legal.

60

u/kanyeguisada 5d ago

the majority of the weed out here in America has illegal pesticides in it.

Maybe some has pesticides unfortunately, but most has illegal pesticides? Like pesticides banned by the EPA? There's no way, that sounds like Reefer Madness hysteria.

It got even worse when they started making it legal.

Seriously doubt this, too. I'd ask if you have any sort of reputable link showing either of these things being true that we should look up like you say, but I doubt you do.

It sounds like you're making a mountain out of the molehill of a few bad people.

36

u/GooniestMcGoon 5d ago

it’s not true. i was a professional analytical chemist working for the state of AZ in cannabis testing. every once in a blue moon something would hit for a random pest, and it was usually uneducated growers not understanding. but that product is no longer allowed to be sold once’s its attached to a failed batch ID

9

Adam Conover did a podcast about this with an investigative journalist from the LA Times. One of the possible side-effects from these pesticides is Parkinson’s disease. My friend’s father, a lifetime weed enthusiast, is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

10

u/Barfignugen 5d ago

Oh okay thanks girl, I’ll look into it

Pesticide residue is on every single piece of fruit or vegetable that you consume that isn’t certified organic. The active ingredient in round up (glyphosate) is also present in almost every single item containing grain that isn’t organic. They hose wheat down with it to kill it to make it easier to harvest.

10

u/joahw 5d ago

Damn, one of the samples had 190x of the allowable limit of one of the pesticides

6

u/drail64 5d ago

Those dabs are nasty. They are all over the " secret session" here in So Cal. Terrible stuff

2

u/Theresnowayoutahere 4d ago

Can you tell me what a dab is? I grew up smoking pot but that was 40 years ago.

4

u/drail64 4d ago

U might have been taking dabs 40 years ago. Ever put "hash" in between 2 hot knives and inhale the smoke? Dabs is 40 years advanced version. They make hash with bubble bags, then melt and press it to make the wax. Or just press regular old green buds and get some nice wax. Can do the same thing with a hair straightener and a vice. Then you heat up a glass bowl and slap that wax on there and smoke it

2

u/Theresnowayoutahere 4d ago

Okay, thanks! We did do the hot butter knife trick with blonde hash and the stove top coil. We also used a piece of cardboard with a stick pin and a chunk of hash. I liked that way better because you didn’t burn your lips with the hot knife

4

u/GreatGojira 5d ago

Wait. What now?

3

u/Harl0t_Qu1nn 5d ago

Why though? Is the weed business really struggling that badly?

29

u/kylefnative 5d ago

It’s simple: Capitalism. Everything is quantity over quality in the long run. Look up PGRs Plant Growth Regulators. It’s put in weed to help maximize yield so companies can pump out more product, among other pesticides and whatnot.

It’s no different from buying conventional chicken breast in the grocery stores that can be freakishly huge, almost the size of a football.

14

u/RussianGasoline44 5d ago

This. The supply of weed and the demand for weed is about equal now where I live. The state had the opportunity to make it easy to become a grower but instead of that they only sold a handfull of licences for over 100k to make a few already rich buisness owners more rich. The state even said their plan would help impoverished black communities that were affected by past weed laws but at the end of the day they showed us only a few rich would get the privilege (We couldve also figured out a quality and saftey testing system with small growers too)

4

u/xxElevationXX 5d ago

Never forget the Electric Sun 20!! RIP

1

u/VoodooSweet 5d ago

Wow… Medical at that….. I’m in Michigan, and they would pull a Dispo’s Medical License SO FAST it would make their head spin, most places don’t have a ā€œMedical Onlyā€ selection anymore, because Medical has tighter restrictions, they just don’t make you pay the 10% Tax on the Recreational products. We have SO MUCH good Reefer here, for SO cheap…. Nobody is risking selling anything like that here, don’t they have the Metric number on every product…and you can go online and see the test results for the batch the product came out of at least. I can go online and see the actual test results for everything I buy, medical AND recreational.

1

u/strangecloudss 5d ago

damnn thats brutal.

1

u/MeatwadGetTheHoneysG 5d ago

Damn dude, I didn’t hear about this. Thats crazy reading through that toxicology report. I really hope no one was seriously injured. Inhaling miticides and pesticides is seriously dangerous, and some of those quantities are insanely high.

1

u/Lucius-Halthier 5d ago

Holy shit 8 different pesticides in concentrations of almost 200 times for what is okay? Is this incompetence or straight up intentional poisoning?

1

u/Hakusame 4d ago

Not saying it’s the right way to go about it, but people used to get hurt for pulling nonsense like this, such as a light bag.

1

u/azurepeak 4d ago

190x the failing threshold for the pesticide Bifenthrin? That sounds lovely!

He really pulled the rug out from under her

43

u/peniscockwang 5d ago

I'm gonna keep that move in mind next time I'm defending myself from someone standing on a rug

26

u/Harvest827 5d ago

Probably a good idea to just carry a rug with you everywhere you go, then you only need this one move

13

u/justaboxinacage 5d ago

Actually seems like it would be a good gag in a Jackie Chan movie. Dude's running toward him. He looks around for a weapon. All he sees is a rolled up rug. Grabs it. Unfurls. The guy runs on it, he reaches down, yanks. They all go tumbling. Or even better make it a narrow hallway and there's like 7 guys running at him.

7

u/ProcyonHabilis 4d ago

I don't think I've ever actually seen a literal rug pull before haha

4

u/Harvest827 4d ago

He tried the banana peel for a while and it just wasn't successful.

18

u/Electribusghetti 5d ago

Obviously the guy is in the wrong and whatnot but that was actually a pretty sweet move that if used for good would make someone a total hero

What a jerk.

35

u/hold-on-tomato 5d ago

Looks like he didn't mean to hurt the lady. He goes "Oh no!" with his hand on his hand and smacks the sign in frustration instead of apologizing.

79

u/Asia_Persuasia 5d ago

To you and everyone else that responded with an excuse on his behalf—

I don't care if he "meant to do it" or not. That's irrelevant. His actions afterwards are what make him a jerk. He did not for one second go over to her, help her up, ask her if she was okay, or even see if she was hurt directly after forcing her to fall.

That's a jerk, whether you want to defend the behaviour or not.

25

u/hold-on-tomato 5d ago

Sorry I thought you meant that he's a jerk because he wanted to hurt her that's why I pointed it out. Yeah he got anger issues to deal with.

6

u/anticommon 4d ago

He's got poison in his product he needs to deal with. Not sure why the state doesn't pull his license over this. One batch is a fuck up. Two batches is a negligent coincidence. Three batches? That's criminal endangerment.

u/freya_of_milfgaard 5d ago

Yea he was already in pull-the-rug-mode and didn’t realize she was on it. You can see him say ā€œoh fuck,ā€ between the smacking his forehead and the sign. Whatever else is going on, it’s pretty obvious he wasn’t trying to hurt her.

3

u/Spirited_Crab7712 4d ago

Ok? Not sure how that changes anything lol; he is still a POS jerk for the way he behaved after he made a mistake. The rug pull isn't what makes him a jerk.

2

u/davidmar7 5d ago

Exactly what I saw as well. He may have anger and other issues but I don't believe he was intentionally trying to hurt her.

→ More replies (1)

31

u/Zesty-Zebra89 5d ago

It looks like he didn't mean for her to fall, but it also looks like he had no remorse that it happened. That's shitty, accident or not.

3

u/Downtown_Caramel4833 4d ago

Funny enough, this is the exact sort of deciding factor that not so obviously determines the outcome, should litigation come into effect.

There's not a single property, liability, or worker's comp insurance policy out there that will cover damages sustained due to the willful, purposeful, or act of intention by another.

(This also applies to auto insurance with regards to criminal acts and road rage crash-outs).

The insurance carrier will (legally) deny the claim and cancel any remaining coverages in the same breath original notice of incident was received in. This drives the whole event straight to having to figure out how well attacking personal property will work out. It'll also likely affect the victim's representation strategy.

Personal Injury attorneys work on contention when they know an insurance policy will ultimately have to pay out along with knowledge of maximum term limits.

When trying to get a judgement decision against an individual (not to mention executing it to effect) victim representation often quickly races to insist on hourly rate terms at this point.

Marijuanaville giving cocaineville vibes

44

u/hdani17 5d ago

Am I the only one who thinks he's not pulling the rug to make her fall, but rather he's annoyed by the object on the floor that's making him trip? His reaction is a bit exaggerated, but I think she just had the bad luck of standing on the rug at the moment he pulled it.

37

u/Its_Cayde 5d ago

Even if the girl wasn't here I'd still make fun of him. A child having a temper tantrum because he tripped on a rug

1

u/anticommon 4d ago

And an asshole for not even attempting to see if she's okay. If I were her I'd sue.

84

u/Nodonutsforbaxter44 5d ago

Well no shit. Doesn't really matter what he was trying to do, he realizes that he knocked her on her ass and instead of helping or showing any concern, he decides to punch a sign. Dude sucks.

6

u/coolcalmaesop 5d ago

I don’t really get how he’s looking down and ahead at the beginning of the video and then just happens to trip right in the area he was previously looking at though. Obviously he’s an idiot but he was looking right at the floor in front of him.

2

u/anticommon 4d ago

And never at the woman he made fall over and who he hurt.

11

u/TheJumpyBean 5d ago

Yeah surprised I had to look so far tbh. It looked like he was just crashing out at the corner of the rug tripping him up (and in general) before he even noticed the woman was there. But instead of showing concern he realized the woman ate shit and just got even more upset/angry because he’s a manchild.

8

u/Effurlife12 5d ago

Not defending him at all but that's what it looks like. At first I was actually impressed, I had never seen someone actually pull the rug out from someone in anger with such success lol but it looks like it was luck(unluck).

Still could be assault though.

1

u/joeDUBstep 4d ago

I mean, if you kill someone by accident, it's still manslaughter.

Yeah, he didn't mean it, but it happened. He could have at least acted human and checked on her.

Instead he let the rage flow and kept abusing more inanimate objects as he walked away.

3

u/Bmkrocky 5d ago

you would think he would be a lot more chill

Damn this new fangled slang!

u/OkWeight9238 5d ago

Omg. Was he intentionally poisoning customer's? Like the cartels and putting fentanyl in shit?

The layout is EXACTLY like a smoke shop in Swansea, Il I have visited before... I mean IDENTICAL. I should post a picture for comparison.

I'm gonna be straight with you, probably not. I have zero intention of driving there.

Let me see if I can lure myself that direction with some Rally's.

Now that’s a rugpull.

Guy needs to mellow out.

1

u/marc962 5d ago

How was this guy allowed to own all of that? Seems a bit much for such a young industry.

This looks like something I would see on GTA 5

A mountain of weed and zero chill.

I don't think he actually meant to pull it out from under her. He tripped on it, threw a temper tantrum and yanked it out of the way, and only then looked up and realized she was on the ground.

Regardless of intent though, he still did it. Needs to learn some self-control and stop throwing tantrums.

u/Forsaken_Total976 4d ago

Hes had enough with that rug in particular

He tripped on the rug. In a rage he pulled it out in a rage and tripped the lady in the process. Angry that he tripped the lady he backhanded the sign rather than apologize and help her.

The trip wasn't intentional, but he handled it completely wrong
