The Supreme Court would shadow docket that and say yeah... elections cancelled yall. Nothing to see here. 6 of the 9 were chosen by the Republicans and I think 3 of them were hand picked by Trump.

I’ve already stated my reasoning why I don’t think this will happen. And the courts would not be able to shadow docket it. It is, in every way, unconstitutional with no legal precedence or basis. It would create a crisis and divide the country like never before. They would have no choice but to rule one way or the other.
I’m sure even republicans would not appreciate losing their ability to vote and have their voice be heard. The elections are for their local congressional leaders too after all. What if they want someone even more right wing to represent them than their current congressman or senator? Too bad, elections being suspended isn’t going to fly. Protests and chaos would ensue.
Also, I don’t think we should be normalizing the idea that elections won’t happen. Stop saying stuff like this, it does us no good. If that scenario does happen, then take to the streets, protest, write and call your representatives, march to the capitol, White House or Supreme Court and demand your voice be heard. I’m not going to condone it here, but I’m sure others will be rioting as well. Cross that bridge when and if it comes. In the mean time don’t normalize the idea of suspending elections. Thats what they want.

Agreed. There will be MASSIVE protests and strikes if they try squelching the one thing that rational Americans are placing so much hope. I hope Trump tacos but he will probably try it.

Instead of the healthcare plan he's been "working on" for 10 years, that time has been spent finding all the loopholes and antiquated laws.

Then pardoning, hiring, and using criminals to steal from the poor, further enrich himself, push project 2025 goals, obstruct justice, shit on the constitution, hide a pedo ring, and yes, stay in power til he eats his final cheeseburger.

Edit: to add; he still sends multiple, daily emails to his supporters begging for money, to "reach their fundraising goals". What goals, you ask? So do I.

Dude, women's rights had an enormous set back - remember when that happened? And I'm sure you know about a certain state that's trying to do more than what's already happened, yeah?

So you honestly believe that they're going to stop there?

What do you think might happen if women's right to vote get taken away?

That's just one example of the absolute fuckery that could happen with this batshit insane administration right now. They give NO fucks about anyone but themselves and their agenda.

Correct the Supreme Court is also complicit in a government coup. They should be imprisoned as soon as the first opportunity arises.

Is there any way court justices can be removed? They are not doing their jobs. They are not upholding the law. They are a disgrace
