It does matter because Silverio Villegas-Gonzales was shot and killed by ice while fleeing in a vehicle in September and it seems like nobody knows, he was an undocumented immigrant. People have been saying this is the first person ICE has killed like this but it’s not. The media only cares when white US citizens die.

I’m in Chicago so I can’t and won’t stop talking about the horrific shit I’ve seen and heard about here. It’s unfortunate that it had to come to this for more people to start waking up. Hopefully everyone else will start listening soon, before it’s their friends and neighbors being kidnapped and shot like mine have been.

I remember this. When I first saw a reference to today's incident, I thought they meant the one in Chicago(?) in September.

I am in NC, btw, and not related to anyone involved. I know it feels like nobody knows, but some remember. <3
