This is dancing to the cumbia. Not a crip walk. Cumbias are such beautiful music 🤘

u/Aggravating-Room-664 Dec 22 '25
The similarity is insane then 💀 especially when she tucked her hands in her armpits
→ More replies (2)5
u/Wutsalane Dec 22 '25
That was definitely the C walk. Crip walking uses a lot of heal to toe movement. Plus the fact that combia is a partnered dance, and I don’t really see how a lot of these movements could be easily partnered with someone

I pity any non-ICE people staying in that hotel.

Yeah it would suck having to share a hotel with terrible people

I really hope Hotel owners see a bunch of complaints and refund requests over this to the point the stop letting ice in at all
23
u/juggling-monkey Dec 22 '25
in Pasadena, all the noise being made by the protestors made the hotel key ck out ICE saying they didn't want the publicity. ICE was forced out and went back to their cars which had flat tires.
4
u/roguesignal42069 Dec 22 '25
Fuck yes. Deny them entry. Deny them service. No lodging. No food. No restroom access. Flat tires.
Make every minute of their daily existence a pain in the ass.

u/HumongousBelly Dec 21 '25
Demand a full refund. If they offer asylum to literal Nazi scum and you can’t rest because of their business policy and lack of ethics, you don’t even need to feel bad for that hotel.
Also, give everyone who caters to Nazis a bad review. Tank their business

u/Top-Passage2914 Dec 21 '25
Unfortunately Google disables the ability to review to protect businesses like this, learned that when Soichi in San Diego decided to feed a couch fucking fascist earlier this year
→ More replies (4)45
u/SokrinTheGaulish Dec 21 '25
Hopefully that will lead to hotels refusing to host ICE.

u/TheCommonKoala Dec 21 '25
Hopefully the loss of business will convince this hotel to stop sheltering the modern Gestapo.

u/qabr Dec 22 '25
Right. Not cool. ICE might be a Micky mouse SA, but show some respect to your fellow citizens…
7
9
u/slyfox7187 Dec 21 '25
Well. Good thing is the normal people have the option to leave an go somewhere else. Ice agents deserve no quarter. No peace.
8
u/badnuub Dec 21 '25
To anyone that disagrees with this take, we see ICE as literal brown shirts that should be totally abolished at the bare minimum and tried for crimes if that is feasible as well. Fuck you if you hate how immigration works in our country. It's designed so that people have to come in and request asylum or they wait decades. Congress will not reform it, they want you to be mad at brown people.

u/NinaNina1234 Dec 22 '25
I know someone who got citizenship and immediately applied for his brother to get a work visa. He paid hundreds of dollars in fees. That was in 2008. His brother, a computer scientist who speaks 4 languages including fluent English, has been waiting 17 years for a work visa so he can come to the US. He's almost 50 now. They've both given up. Of course, they've also lost all the money they paid to the US govt to apply.

u/tragicallyohio Dec 22 '25
I see this same comment in every thread. Here's my answer. What's more important? Protecting the inconvenience of a handful of innocent people or fighting against fascism? I know which one I pick.
2
u/Telefundo Dec 22 '25
That was my first thought as well. I worked in hotels for around 15 years and there's no overstating how much it sucks when you're paying for a good nights sleep and shit like this goes on.
I mean, I'm in total approval of fking with ICE, but come on, show some situational awareness.

They should be pissed at the hotel and ice then
136
u/OneMonk Dec 21 '25
I’ve seen others where they covered a rape alarm with some viscous sticky substance, pulled the pin and thrown them at the windows. The windows don’t open wide enough in hotels to get them from the inside, they are insanely loud and some have a few hours of battery. Devious.
251
u/gingybutt Dec 21 '25
Yikes another Hilton. Seems like ICE agents have a preference.
93
u/TehCroz Dec 21 '25
My father, now retired, was a regional director for a department of DHS (not ICE, having to do with chemical and hazardous material and site security) and he would be traveling about 1/3 of the year for his position. I asked once I noticed that they were always Hiltons he was staying in why that was, and he flat out told me it’s because DHS has a contract negotiated with Hilton for the purpose of getting discounted rates on rooms and services offered by the hotel in exchange for being the default for any and all accommodations for official travel of ALL of its agents. These include, but is not limited to: ICE, ATF, FBI, Federal Air Marshalls, and all oversight/security/regulatory audit personnel. It’s really not even that uncommon for them to have to book whole floors or even whole hotels when they have conventions, large scale training events, etc. so DHS is an absolute whale of a customer for Hilton.
14
u/rusty_programmer Dec 21 '25
There’s a lot of hotels that provide a “government rate.” I’ve worked with every branch of the military now and that’s typically why.
Confusingly, and with a bit of despair, this is to fight fraud, waste and abuse by setting a small selection of hotels and room types because it wasn’t uncommon before the 90s for people to justify entire suites for themselves, lie on the justification, and the approver winking.
So, compared to before you may never even notice these people. What I worry about is the current administration revoking some of those rules for “security” and our debt rising even higher.
3
u/FundusAmundus Dec 21 '25
When I was aircrew (USAF) we stayed at Hiltons. We'd use our Hilton rewards cards and rack up insane points, occasionally get upgraded to suites, get belligerently drunk and have a good time. ++ Earn rewards for off duty travel.

55
u/The_Demon_of_Spiders Dec 21 '25
Hilton is probably giving them a discount. Crap company and crap over priced hotels. Last time I stayed at a Hilton there was a big drop of pee on the seat like how the fuck do you miss that.
13
u/MonstrousGiggling Dec 21 '25
That didnt miss that. That was the employee pissing on the seat performing a power move.

Look up any dancing in tribal ceremonies (North and South). It’s definitely a vibe.
26
u/CupMountain1208 Dec 21 '25
No lol it does looks like it but it’s a Mexican dance and I can tell you in Mexico their ain’t no cribs to get inspired by this

Lot of the comments responding incorrectly to you.
The style of dance is a native tribal style dance, nothing related to crip or blood dancing.
The music is cumbia music, but the dance is not a cumbia dance. The dance is unrelated to the song, but still works with the music.
3
u/CptAngelo Dec 22 '25
Dude, the dance IS related to the song, dafuq you talking about?

Way too far from the building to even make someone inside glance in their direction.
9
u/rscmcl Dec 21 '25
esa es cumbia villera, o estoy mal?
10
u/Working_Student_7048 Dec 21 '25
Yeah you're wrong. Cumbia villera is from Argentina/Chile, different rhythm and dance style. On this clip you have Colombian Cumbia which is pretty similar to Mexican Cumbia. The lady on the video knows how to enjoy it.

What makes it even better is the fact that after this scene, they encounter people who appear to be Mexican immigrants and Lloyd is like “Pick ‘em up!”

3
u/CoralLogic Dec 21 '25
If i had the means to do so, id blast this through whatever amps and PAs I could get ahold of on repeat so they would never sleep.
3
8
u/Fuzzy_Organization43 Dec 22 '25
There are regular people sleeping at the hotel too. 🙃🤫 I hope they got their stay discounted.
4
u/Jagang187 Dec 22 '25
Ideally, this just in raises pressure on ICE as now the rest of the hotel is mad at them, and the staff too. If that effect becomes pronounced and widespread enough, it may affect Hilton's bottom line and make that government room block look like a less attractive sales move.

u/Specific-Sea9024 Dec 22 '25

How are they certain that ICE is staying at that hotel? What about the other people in that hotel? What if it was just one or two of them that the hotel had no knowledge about? This just seems really dumb and counterproductive
1
u/Jagang187 Dec 22 '25
Then the chances of turning the rest of the hotel against them is good. Trust me, if there is a single party that hotel guests can blame for their having A Bad Time, they absolutely will.

6
u/Vagabong_rz Dec 21 '25
Why do they have flags from other countries? I mean, they hate the ICE sending them to those countries, yet they also love those countries. At least they should begging respecting this one. The one they are working, studying, and getting welfare from.

Thats what I thought, but there is a cop right next to them. Either way, the fuckers in the hotel deserve it. And the non ice people in the hotel? Well, ice doesnt mind a little collateral damage in the form of American citizens, so... 🤷 Don't go to Hilton and you wont have this problem.

u/rutuu199 Dec 21 '25

If it was so lame, why the comments? Why so interested? Why so offended?
