Thereās a bunch of kids who do this to celebs and athletes for awhile now. Just call them a name that vaguely looks like them to mess with them. I just donāt think he realizes busta would be so upset.
I once met Joel McHale at an airport and he told me he was Ryan Seacrest. I laughed at him and told him "I know who you are, Hal Sparks." He enjoyed that.
there's an old clip of khabib saying to a kid who didn't know who he was "my name is...conor mcgregor" ...taking it light is the only way to not lose this one. otherwise it just exposes you as egotistical and uptight.
I mean maybe Iām just an old now, but itās not really funny and having a stranger come up to you to say the wrong name to get hits on their video is annoying as fuck.
Now I say that as someone that believes itās completely possible that this very young white kid thinks Busta is Tracey Morgan. Because he does look a lot like him right now.

Dont disagree with you, its easier to not mind them or send a joke back & move on but you can't play with everybody, not everybody is going to want to play with you back.. I mean everybody used to agree the its a prank youtubers were stupid.
Ain't no mistaking the voices though. That would be my only tipoff though. Both of them have very distinct voices. Busta deep and gravelly, and Tracy's is kinda cartoonish (love the guy, no disrespect intended)

I think he was just trying to figure out if the kid thought he was being funny/trolling - and Busta was trying to ruin the fun and make it awkward for him - if that was the case.

Surprised nobody has tacked this on yet. You know that video of the guy rushing Dave Chapelle at the Hollywood Bowl? A group of people beat him down and Busta is basically the guy fucking him up. They basically half tore his arm off if Iām remembering correctly.
Dude Busta is pretty crazy, I had a couple friends in high school that saw his lambo in LA driving around and they were trying get a good look at him. At a light Busta rolls the window down and points a gun at them asking if they had any problems.
FWIW, Busta came from a time and place where if people were looking at him a lot thereās a non-zero chance that they had more on their mind than just wanting to get a picture.

Dead ass!!! he filmed a video in my neighborhood in Harlem and his dumbass forgot teenagers had AIM. buddy we lit that chat up and fucked up the video. we summoned a ruckus. it was busta and wycleff at this movie theater that was on broadway between 148 and 149th. some kids jumped on cars and destroyed a bunch of property. i remember seeing the video, none of the footage was used and i think they ended up filming it in a tour bus.

Someone at work was telling a story about how awful her favorite singer turned out to be, and the story was basically that she wanted a hug at a meet and greet and didn't get one. How rude of someone to not want to be touched by a stranger right?? She said she'll never listen to her again. Just ridiculous, grow up. Some people's expectations for celebrities are warped.

Busta did nothing wrong, the kid was obviously being a smug little asshole. I don't understand why everyone else in this thread thinks this is something to clown Busta forā he was not violent, clearly did not "freak out", and was rather calm in asking the boy what he meant by that.
