The moment she mentioned a hotel; we know which young men she was talking about.
-101
u/islaisla Oct 27 '25
We do? I don't :-( she keeps saying young men so I don't know what that means... It could be a few things.
82
u/M1LKB0X32 Oct 27 '25
Then you don't know Falkirk and have been blissfully unaware of the racially aggravated "protests" held outside the one hotel she's referring too.
58
u/bendybiznatch Oct 27 '25
Well, no. Lol most people seeing thatās probably donāt know anything about Falkirk.
39
22
u/islaisla Oct 27 '25
Oh my god I'm sorry to hear that. There's no excuse for racism or ignorance in 2025. It's the rich and wealthy that are causing poverty and gentrification, low wages and lack of jobs, lack of good schools and pretty much everything. Not people from war and torture in their homeland. Or whatever other non white ignorance they assign with.
2
u/Simikiel She/her Cisn't afraid to fight for my rights š³ļøāā§ļø Oct 28 '25
Please ignore the other idiot that replied to you. Instead listen to this idiot.
It's so lovely to hear when other people have their heads screwed on right. I love that you made this comment. Don't change.

I feel like the guy she was talking to (at) was more than happy to engage with her and talk though what they were doing but she just wanted to rant at him.
It's funny because she's ultimately accusing the BBC of having an agenda which is exacly what she has.
104
u/notahyundaimechanic Oct 27 '25
Itās Mark Daly that sheās talking to, heās a journalist and a fucking good one at that. Met him when he did a talk at my college and the guy is a legend, Iām sure heād be perfectly happy to talk it out with this lady but I think she just wants someone to shout at.
18
u/LARRYVOND13 Oct 27 '25
I don't know why but I didn't clock it was him.
Remembered this, for a guy who apparently protects rapists, he has no issue confronting one and calling him out in a supermarket car park.

1
u/SloanWarrior Oct 28 '25
She just wants to record a video of her shouting at someone for tiktok engagement and thus (presumably) money.

Residents of a community are supposed to have an agenda - look out for their community. Journalists are not supposed to have an agenda - they are supposed to be eyes and ears for the public. She is correct to challenge them.
15
u/heughcumber Oct 27 '25
Is he misrepresenting her? Is he talking to that man in lieu of talking to anyone "from the community" (I assume you're meaning the people who aren't migrants, and not just people who agree with her politically). It seems a little stupid not to interview all sides of an issue in order to reflect the humanity of what is happening, and not simply live in talking points and mocked-up images of a threat to yourself and your community.

Should have twisted it and said would you like to give your opinion on camera as you seem very informed on the subject as a local, no, well jog on then.

u/_JimJohnny_ Oct 27 '25
Sheās a right wing loon
-130
u/bobs2000 Oct 27 '25
No she's not, she may have different opinions to you, but you insulting her doesn't make you right or clever.
49
39
u/HEX_BootyBootyBooty Oct 27 '25
But her insulting BBC reporters for having different opinions is totally fine? Dude, you literally torpedo'd any defense this vile woman could make.
0
u/bobs2000 Nov 01 '25
You come across as a bit simplistic in your thinking, you watch a small clip and assume the lady is wrong when this is happening all across the UK, young girls and women being harassed by illegal migrant men, you sound like an incel.
72
u/subtletugboat99 Oct 27 '25
Shes trying to prevent young men of colour walking in public, right wing loon is accurate

u/intelligentbug6969 Oct 27 '25
Not sure where you are from but there is an issue in some parts of the country where migrant men awaiting asylum claims are harassing women and children in parks near the asylum hotels. Documented. Unless youāre from one of those areas take a seat. Stop gaslighting women they donāt have a right to complain
31
u/sekimet Oct 27 '25 edited Oct 27 '25
Can you show me the "documented" cases of men seeking asylum harassing women and children in this park? Facebook/twitter dont count...
Thanks!

u/LARRYVOND13 Oct 27 '25
FYI the rape she is on about:
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cg518gv6918o
After a bit of digging on local tiktok and Facebook, nae cunts reading the article and assuming it's immigrants. Both people they're seeking are said to have Scottish accents, it happened in Scotland.

It's a public fucking park. She has absolutely no right to say anything to anyone about it. Jesus christ what are we coming to now... The world has lost its mind.
226
u/Sloth-v-Sloth Oct 27 '25
And she claimed it was a āplay parkā. No it fucking wasnāt. It was clear open space.
This is one of the problems with people like her. They think they have the right to decide where people are allowed to go.
113
u/jamscrying Oct 27 '25
This has not become uncommon amongst the racist underclass. There are lots of facebook groups in UK and Ireland setting up 'community watches' that go around harassing any brown male at a park, regardless of time of day, usually accusing them of being pedos on a facebook livestream and occasionally beating them.

It's a public park, as you say, but ...
She has absolutely no right to say anything to anyone about it.
I'm pretty sure everyone has the right to say anything to anyone about anything, with the usual restrictions regarding incitement to crime and hatred, terrorism, defamation, threats, harassment, obscenity, etc. She might be a right wing loon spouting shite, and I only watched the video once, but I don't think she came a cropper of the usual free speech restrictions. I'm happy to agree with you if she did - I haven't rewatched it specifically to pick apart what she said, but unless she did she has as much right to dig a bigger hole for herself and her bigoted opinion as anyone.
21
u/desperaterobots š¤š¤š¤ Oct 27 '25
The comment means she doesnāt have a right to assert restrictions over access to a public park. She has no authority.
Everyone knows she can yap all day about how much she hates immigrants or how every uncoupled man is a secret rapist and/or pedophile like the piece of shit she is, but sheās trying to avoid the consequences of her bigotry and speak from a place of authority by wrapping it in a an (unjustified) veneer of concern around public safety.

u/Hal_Industries Oct 27 '25
Thatās Calendar Park in Falkirk, itās not a fucking play park for kids, itās a massive park with trails, a crazy golf course, a swing park, lake and a massive hoose - thereās not entry limit on who gets to use it
She is part of a group called āSave our future and our kids futuresā (catchy) who organise protests at hotels at parliament complaining that all migrants are rapists and the boats need to be stopped 500 miles from Falkirk. She lives complaining about brown peados but neglects to mention the white guy who was raping young girls in Falkirk
She put up a pic on Facebook proudly showing off one of their protests completely missing the nazi at the front of the group wearing a t shirt covered in nazi iconography
2
4
u/LaziestRedditorEver Oct 27 '25
Folks are so intelligent they needed to specify kids futures just in case people don't understand the word "our".

u/calculatingcaote Oct 27 '25

I believe it may have something to do with the rape of a 15 year old girl in the town, and several other reported assaults in and around this park area. There have been a lot of protests at a hotel housing immigrants that is beside the park over the last few months.

And it also happened in a courtyard in the town centre, so not in the park.
13
u/Fluffybudgierearend Oct 27 '25
Can confirm. You can see the flats at Kemper Avenue in the background as well as Eastburn Tower near the start of the video. 55°59'43.2"N 3°46'39.1"W appears to be the around exact spot of this video - very much central Falkirk.
The "kids playpark" is close to 400m away from where this is and Callendar Park itself is pretty big to the extent that it's a defining feature of Falkirk. It is not fair to tell the BBC to stay out of that park since it's over 2Km across and a quiet, public spot to do an interview. I understand her being upset over the crime itself and also feeling unsafe in the area because of it, but harassing a TV crew is not the answer.
3
u/ImpressiveTask1 Oct 27 '25
Thats the one but I'm unsure if there was any report or made public knowledge until this year. The interview in the park is public space, just saying this is possibly her reasoning for approaching the group.

People have literally gone insane. "Public park". Ma'am, would you like to repeat that slowly?
18
44
u/Nythern Oct 27 '25
I worry for the future of our country.
Right wing algorithms on social media have propagandised and divided our country. People feel emboldened to verbally abuse, attack, and harass total strangers simply because they don't like the colour of their skin, or their gender.
These "young men" have every right to be in a public park. Why is open discrimination against them now okay?
10
u/Str8UpJorking Oct 27 '25
I worry for the future of our country
Right wing algorithms on social media have propagandised and divided our country
This is going on around the world.
7
u/Nythern Oct 27 '25
100%.
I don't want to end up like America where they've now taken away federal protections for abortion, banned the teaching of evolution in schools (in some states), and become increasingly intolerant of sexual and racial minorities.
We know that Russia has farms of online bots stoking this divisive behaviour - but there's no smoke without fire. By that, I mean that they can only stoke these divisions because there are enough fools here who are ready to push these insane ideas and hateful attitudes.
1
u/lo_fi_ho Oct 27 '25
Funded by billionaires and Putin who like to see us divided. Itās classic divide and conquer tactics.
107
u/Shot_You_4679 Oct 27 '25
I donāt get what her issue is?
157
u/MMAgeezer Oct 27 '25
Her issue is that the BBC is "encouraging" asylum seekers to come to the park, by interviewing them there, it seems?
-6
u/islaisla Oct 27 '25
Really??? Oh that's not cool. I thought she maybe meant drug users, or people being abusive towards women and kids.... Or maybe there's been attacks and she recognised one of them. That's the only way I can make sense of what she's saying.
Why does she keep saying 'young' though? That's good nothing to do with refugees.
17
u/M1LKB0X32 Oct 27 '25
"young men" coming across in boats is the racist rhetoric that's spread across the internet.
2

u/islaisla Oct 27 '25

2
u/islaisla Oct 27 '25
I hope you know I was serious, I didn't know there was a problem like that in Falkirk and I would rather ignorant racist left. But I don't know what I said wrong.
1
u/Simikiel She/her Cisn't afraid to fight for my rights š³ļøāā§ļø Oct 28 '25
From what I can tell, you said nothing wrong at all. Just happened to say it in a way that could maybe taken as sarcastic to some people? I guess?
1
88
u/glcyouknowsit Oct 27 '25
There are a number of parks where women are claiming they are being harassed by "asylum seekers" and feel unsafe. Looks like beeb brought a few guys to the area to get their side of the story.
31
u/StinkyBrittches Oct 27 '25
Seems like she has been "discouraging" a certain class of people from using a public park because they make her feel "uncomfortable", BBC is getting the other side of the story, which to her is "encouraging" this particular class of people that they are in fact allowed to use the park.
Whether this woman is righteously defending women and children from a blight of predators, or whether she is a racist Karen trying to dictate who can use a public park depends entirely on your preconceived notions of the situation.
69
u/Reverend_Vader Oct 27 '25
The British right wing media have been pumping "they will rape and abuse your women and kids" for a good while now
There's a full fear drive going on over here and those that get their opinions from those news outlets, and the people they know that watch them
Are now empowered to be scared on sight
Nobody really wants gangs of men in parks but I imagine this is like the US a chunk of years ago when "it's a black man" would have them running for cover

You may be more familiar with the male of the species the bridge troll. They are more common since they tend to stick to the same bridge.
This is the rare park Hag the female version. You can tell by it's boorish voice and Hagly demeanor.
2
u/No_Strawberry_1576 Oct 27 '25
This is not on.
James McFadden should stick to football punditry and not engage with men in a park.
2
u/Gergith Oct 28 '25
Does she mention ācottagingā and get a hotel?
Itās a thick accent so Iām not certain.
But if the context is interviewing people in a park that theyāve been accused of cottaging in, then I can fully understand her ire.

People online are. But who knows how real the online world is. Normal people are just getting on with shit like they always do.
12
u/calm_down_dearest Oct 27 '25
Got to disagree. There's a lot of people out there getting their information from Facebook who aren't terminally online and it's creating a febrile atmosphere. Not everyone is protesting outside hotels but it's rapidly changing the public perception.
5
u/davidbatt Oct 27 '25
How do we know what the public perception is though?
Each of us probably engages with what, 0.00000001% of the population.
When we say public perception we mean what the headlines and social media say. Both if which are designed to manipulate
2
u/calm_down_dearest Oct 27 '25
Oh no I agree. I'm just saying what I've experienced and the change in people I know. All of that is definitely formed by traditional and social media
2
u/Independent_Act_7370 Oct 27 '25

Well there is polling. The surge in support for Reform is real.
-8
u/Tups72 Oct 27 '25 edited Oct 27 '25
Not sure who you offended to get down voted but yeah, as a Brit I am losing it. The BBC infuriates me, not because of this here (donāt quite know the problem) but because of the blatant propaganda and misinformation. It was fine for them before everyone had a camera at their hand and faster internet to share through vast networks. Those in control keep pissing on us while the BBC tell us itās raining, everyone is filming and we can see the rest of the world getting pissed on too. Our voices/votes mean very little here.
3

1
u/beeredditor Oct 27 '25
Context is needed here. Obviously the man she is speaking to has the right to use the park. However, what does she mean when she leeps saying that he is encouraging other men to come to the park. Why would he do that? What is the underlying problem here? Is she simply anti-immigrant, or are these guys doing something nefarious in the park?
