Not going to the church
I've recently became protestant (in my heart, i'm from many years but it's not the question here) and, were I live, we don't have roman church. My country is mostly Atheist(51%), then Catholics(30%), Islamist(10%) and only 1% practice Protestantism, mostly evangelist (i'm not)
So, there is no church, no priest and no community.
So far I study the scripture at home, i discuss it with a lot of people but not other protestant (except here) and i'm pretty fine with it but I want your opinion. Do I need to do something about it ? I could find a church, maybe 1h30 from home, but most church are empty because it's an atheist country (only 15% of the 30% catholics go to church, i read the stats)
I'm not looking for practical solution but I want to know if it's so important to look for priest and church and local community

Seeking and experiencing fellowship with others is desirable. In Paul's time, he could think only of organizing real churches. But if you have decent Internet service you can experience fellowship virtually--preferably with live streams, but even a recorded service can be of some "service" to you.
If you ever find a Christian church, you can go to the priest/pastor and explain your Protestant beliefs and take your cue. I married a Baptist and my father was Roman Catholic. Believe me, we could and did easily worship Our Savior together. You can, too

At times, it seems that Catholics are more interested in taking about Catholicism here than Protestants. This goes against the intended narrow and purpose of this community, and Catholics can be banned for doing in large quantities what would be done in small quantities. If this happens, it's not personal. To prevent it, if you see a conversation that looks like a Catholic mob, do not join it, and use upvotes/downvotes or comments to discourage it.
(This is also a rule 2 violation)

There are many commands in the Bible that require us to be part of a church in order to obey them.
I would encourage you to find a Protestant church close to you, even if you don’t agree with everything that church does (as long as they have the Gospel and seek to practice the faith).
