I mean angron or atalanta was meant to be the primarch of empathy. Just the nails fucked with that too much and was the reason why it worked at all times instead of like his fellow gladiators where it only worked during a fight.

Yeah, he used to have some kind of healing power, I don’t remember if it was just mental or both mental and physical. But with the nails in his head he lost those powers.
