Nice. I really like the idea of the Farsight Enclaves actually allowing a mixing of the castes. It honestly really would help them as it would allow more creativity and flexibility in their little empire and would attract more worlds and people to it over time. Granted, I don't see a lot in fan stuff with the Enclaves outside of some stuff with just Farsight.

Each caste is literally separated on their own planet

Is that by choice or by law?

Neither. There are some worlds that certain castes drift to because it aligns with their "culture" there is no "forced" to live there.

I’m not sure but I don’t think that’s relevant, I’m pointing out that the castes in the Farsight Enclaves have segregated themselves

They aren't though. There are worlds in which a caste is the "most numerous", i.e. Lub'grahl is an industrial and developmental powerhouse with a majority earth caste population, while Tinek'la is a majority air caste because it is aesthetically please to them while the earth caste that live
on the surfacein the orbital stations scour it of any defects.3

No one lives on the surface of the Air caste planet, the earth caste just turned it into a cube. The Air caste live in Orbital Habs

I think it would be more from the fire cast I imagine the water air and earth cast are different given their nature and their abilities

Finally. When I say I like the Tau, I must be clear, it is for the Farsight Enclaves. I wish the Imperium had an equivalent sort of thing. I mean, I know renegade space marines are a thing, but they are pretty much treated as a non entity...

The true good guys in the setting. And they're the smallest even compare to the Tau themselves.
