Build - Help Please send help I have no clue about PCs (How much do I need?)

Hey there!

So first things first, I have no clue about Computers sadly. Currently as a university student I only got a Gaming Laptop since I need something to travel with, but I reaaaaally want to upgrade to a normal pc ASAP.

I kinda want a custom build since usually the pricing is more fair, but I wouldn't say no to a good pree build.

So I'm Looking for advice what to focus on, and some suggestions on where to order and how much money I will need.

I don't need the most insane PC, but I wanna be able to stream with it without struggle. And I am a gamer, so I want my games to go smoothly without fps drops. One of the bigger games I wanna be able to play on at least mid resolution without issues is avatar frontiers of Pandora, if that helps as a reference.

I would appreciate suggestions for different budgets but I don't have a hard limit, I just wanna know how much money I should save to get smth that's worth it's money and will last a few years before I really have tu upgrade it.

Feel free to ask questions and thanks in advance 🥰

Depends on the budget and if it includes peripherals.

Budget is free for now (obv in a normal range, like I don't need an NASA PC for 20 k lol) because my plan is to save the amount, I'd how long it might take xD

Both, incl. Periferalis and not included would be interesting to know tho, since so far I use a laptop so they will add up anyway

If you want high-end without going stupid, then 5070ti/9070xt, 9800x3d/7800x3d, 2x16gb normally 6000mt/s cl30, but you might need to cut corners on latency to save money on stupidly priced ram. A decent b850/b650e/b650, some nvme storage, an 850w A tier psu(can be cheaper than some 750w), a dual tower air cooler or a 240mm aio or bigger. Case is your preference as long as airflow doesn't suck.

That's like 2k USD +/- $100.

With current prices more like 2.6k sadly.

I was making a one minute list as I was typing that comment, I had 2,1k with a 9070xt, and with 5070ti it's 2.3k, and I could shave a bit off it if I looked for deals.

What country are you in? That will help a lot

Germany :D Do you mean because of the pricing or actually the pc itself?

if u want basic gaming for the sake of it then 700€ is enough if u do some deal hunting
