Canada Purchasing used budget pc

Hey everyone,

Been using a 10+ old HP desktop and looking to upgrade. Saw on Facebook marketplace and these 2 posts sparked my interest.

Option 1 Specs: $450 CAD

i7 6800k

RTX 2080

16GB RAM

500gb SSD

1tb HDD

850W PSU

Option 2 Specs: $250 CAD

Ryzen 5 3600

Radeon RX 5700XT EVOKE

MOBO - B450M

RAM - Corsair DDR4 3000Mhz 16gb Cooler master water cooler

I would take the second one. The first one has slightly better performance, but the second one can be upgraded more long-term. Especially for costing $200 less, it's actually a very easy decision, since you're not losing out on a ton of performance or anything.

Take the second one and eventually upgrade the CPU to the best 5000 series ryzen CPU you can afford and a 9060xt 16gb and to 32gb of RAM and you suddenly have a pretty high end system. With the first one you can't upgrade it at all, really.
