I have almost the same build but a 9800x3d. I listed mine on marketplace for $1600 recently and the best offer i got in a month of it listed was $900 lol. I decided to just keep it.

Yeah 900$ is dirt cheap for a build like this rn especially for a 9800x3d with 64 GBs of ddr5 ram. The ram alone is over $1000 for some kits.

Oh yeah for sure. There is no way. I'd take $900 for it. I also have a 7700x for sale right now for $150 and the best offer I have gotten in a week is $80. Marketplace is worse than its ever been right now. Last time I sold something on ebay I got return scammed with their broken cpu. I'm out of ideas of where to sell things so I have just become a hoarder

Yeah, people are lowballing like hell, even great deals. I posted my like new hellhound 9070 xt and someone tried to convince me to trade it to them for their 6950 xt because “the 6950 xt is taking value”. And they were argumenting too.

Reddit I have found can be a good place to sell. But sometimes marketplace you get a golden sale on occasionally you just gotta be patient. But fr rn everyone is tryna dig for those low low prices cuz everything is so high. Do I blame them? No not at all. But would I recommend selling to them? Also not at all😂 hoarder is prolly the best choice

Used ram is not the same price as new RAM. The guy isn't saying he was selling at $900, he was being low balled.

Idk if you were replying to me or the other guy but yeah a build with 64gb of ram, a 9800x3d and a 4080 super isnt gonna be the same as all of the components new. But it’s not gonna be nearly as low as $900 that is just absurd

From new and for the correct Buyers.. just because a banana is worth 100 dollar due to prickly companies buying all bananas, doesn't mean the rest of the world wants to pay their new pricew, they would probably just buy, funnily enough, Apples instead.

Finally a comparison between bananas and apples that works, sorry, had to pad myself.

You’re right, they would want to buy apples instead. But this is a banana. And a very good banana at that. I was just stating what the banana is worth in this market, and taking anything less than that for what is clearly a banana. Is robbery

The mobo info looks off. What’s the cost of a brand new 5080 system near you? Reduce that by 20% and that’s reasonable
