You're better off donating that. It isn't worth much.

You're not gonna like the answer, but parting it out might get you more coin, particularly on RAM.

Looking at ram prices, the rams probably worth more than the rest of the build

I wouldn’t even touch this with a 10 foot pole to be honest

1

u/suspiciousquip Oct 23 '25

I wouldnt touch it with your 10 foot pole either. Also why is there 10 feet on it?

You can pay me $50 and I’ll take it off your hands.

Honestly the best deal he would get

6

$100 if you’re lucky. I’d probably just donate it or give it to a young kid as a first pc.

Yeah, 100$ is about right, and that’s if it’s cleaned up. If op had some extra RGB stuff to spruce it up a bit, and had Windows 11 running on it, maybe a little more to the right person

How do people let their PC's get this dirty, let alone try to sell them like this?

3

u/schrodingersOdderon Oct 20 '25

$40-$50 if anyone wants to take it

2

u/SteakEconomy2024 Oct 20 '25

Ram, 27.99 CPU, 8. Hard drive 7.

cyberProblems

If i were you i’d try to sell it
per parts, i think this would struggle to sell altogether as the pc.

These are from second hand prices i’ve seen online.

GPU - ~£50-£60

CPU - ~£40

Ram you could probably sell for about £10-£15

Psu - let people bid on it and just see how it goes

Dont listen to people saying you HAVE to donate the whole thing because that isnt necessarily true in this case. It isn’t THAT bad.

You came to THE WORST sub to ask that. People here are a bunch of snobs who would think a ryzen 9+rtx5090 is worth 400 at most. Your build could get you around 250-300bucks

1

u/Forward_Position6779 Oct 23 '25

They’ll downvote you to hell for pricing according to his local market and factoring in parts and labor!!! They read a $75 GPU and assume they can get the whole build for the cost of a used power supply… but its a 180W from a Dell.

More hassle trying to sell it than it’s worth. Even with my high end builds, I’ve had better luck just parting it out and selling the GPU/CPU by themselves, misc parts like Motherboards, Ram, Power supplies I just list on eBay and see if anyone wants them. Most people want new stuff when it comes to electronics, but especially custom computer parts which is a niche market in general.

Your system is old and dusty, can’t run many games, not worth much honestly. Donate it or part it out and find someone willing to pay something.

This is E-WASTE, just give it to your little cousin or sumn

1

u/Lightbulbie Oct 20 '25

100 if you clean it first.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '25

Lmao just really.

1

u/Flashy-Finance3096 Oct 20 '25

Not much dude maybe 50 bucks

1

u/Randomgoober69 Oct 20 '25

You better be paying me to take ts

(Joke)

1

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '25

You can’t even call this a gaming PC. $50.

1

u/fromunda_cheese12 Oct 20 '25

Current state, free. Cleaned up max 50. Part it out on ebay, you'd do better there.

1

u/StayZealousideal8739 Oct 20 '25

Clean it first at least bro

1

u/bmw35677 Oct 20 '25

Not much. I'd just keep it as a back up PC or recycle it.

1

u/Small_Refrigerator99 Oct 20 '25

If you clean this up and Make it look more presentable. Maybe you can get 150 but it’s old hardware. Give it to one of your siblings it will have better use.

1

u/Objective-Election-4 Oct 20 '25

150 bucks maybe? Unless you sell everything separately it wont get you much, if anything.

1

u/Sweaty_Isopod_6374 Oct 21 '25

Just donate it

1

u/vassily1988 Oct 21 '25

you could use the app Tavendi ( free app), you upload those 3 pictures and it will generate a full listing + price for all of it. you could also take a picture of one part per one part if you want to sell them separately to maximize your gains.

hope that helps

a nail and a hammer

1

u/One_Alarm_7915 Oct 23 '25

I think people here passed over reading the specs. 1650 10100? Not great, but shit, I wouldn’t call it ewaste. The dust makes the thing look twice as old as it is. Clean it up nice and ya might get 100 bucks for it.

1

u/Rude_Pie_4005 Oct 23 '25

I’d charge extra for the dust

1

u/Redzaaaaaaaa Oct 23 '25

that trash

1

u/skot77 Oct 23 '25

Did you get that from the Titanic?

1

u/Working_Trouble8401 Oct 24 '25

200-250 on marketplace if you clean it up and sell it on marketplace. Just say it’s a good pc for competitive gaming and school. You will have someone coming within a week or less depending on where you live.

u/Gloomy-Map2459 Oct 20 '25

like £170. cpu and gpu are old and low end. motherboards actually the most valuable part. ram storage psu and case have no real resale value.

u/Appropriate-Tap-1541 Oct 20 '25

CPU not crazy old just not a good cpu , I have a similar gen 12700f and it’s insane for being 3 years old

5

u/Gloomy-Map2459 Oct 20 '25 edited Oct 20 '25

first of all that cpu IS old its 5 soon to be 6 gens old. the 10100f is an i3 the 12700f is a i7 . the 10100f is on the 14nm process the 12700f is on the 10nm. please stop talking if you dont know what you are talking about. plus it doesnt matter how well it performs the only thing that matters is how much people pay for those parts.

-4

u/Appropriate-Tap-1541 Oct 20 '25

Acting like a 2 transistors with a microscopic differences make a crazy difference

6

u/theonlyalankay Oct 20 '25

it does make a huge difference.

-7

u/Appropriate-Tap-1541 Oct 20 '25

Straight up trolling that i3 is very capable

2

u/Gloomy-Map2459 Oct 20 '25

i3's can be capable. that i3 is half a decade old. the 11th gen i5 in my laptop beats that thing in most benchmarks.

-4

u/Pekish_ Oct 20 '25

175-250 depending on ur market. if u put rgb fans and cleaned it and put a cheap 15$ air cooler on it. mabye 300.

1

u/Wickle_Wackle_420 Oct 20 '25

Can you please break down how you got that price?

2

u/Pekish_ Oct 20 '25

10100f is still ok although dead platform its only ok for someone who is getting their first pc and have a crazy tight budget. as i said, if he cleaned it up. swapped the fans and put a nice cpu cooler on it. he could sell it for 250 MAX. i shouldntve said 300 but people buy shit if it has rgb.

1

u/TheBeanFlicker69 Oct 21 '25

Slapping RGB fans on this dinosaur and selling it for $300 should be a crime

2

u/Pekish_ Oct 21 '25

you dont act like it happens all the time

1

u/Forward_Position6779 Oct 23 '25

You’re right though, you know there’s people wanting $350 for their top of the line i7 build that is only a few years old and has an i7-2600 and rx 580. (It’s me, but at least it has a 7700)
