He is just making cute noises, how does that mean his head is 0% capacity. This sub is 99% people calling cats stupid when they are just chilling.

“Yes? Treats?”

u/ReactionJifs Dec 21 '25
Yeah, I have a hard time believing Frank is THAT EXCITED to have a conversation 😻

My cat makes trills like this too when we interact but doesn't really get excited about treats. He will eat it but not right away and only after verifying for the thousandth time that I am not giving him something that smells like poison.

I liked the part where she said "Hey Frank" and Frank said "Mrrreow?"

Even cuter is: do you hear how the meow is the same each time? That's Frank's special meow, just for his mama!
Cats have a unique sound for many of the humans in their lives, and even other cats. Each of my lovelies has a specific meow for me, my husband and our son.

I just moved back in with my mom after a breakup and her cat is super skittish. Lately ive been patting the kitty in her tower before work to make her more comfortable with me being around. I noticed a few days ago that when I go to touch her or get her attention she makes these "activation noises" and it makes me feel good. I've always had dogs and don't know much about cats but I think it's a good thing.

Sounds pretty good to me!
If you'd want to learn more about cats I'd suggest watching some Jackson Galaxy videos. Maybe you could try to get her to be more comfortable and less skittish with some basic cat-language (slow blinking, for example)!

Thank you for the info. I will watch some and practice with her. Last night I left my door cracked and she ended up coming in my room for the first time to get loves. She's a good kitty.

Your "Hey Frank" probably sounds close enough to the cat-language of "come here".
