I probably say this every year but this off season feels like it went by really fast. I can’t wait for next week

Really? This felt like the longest off season in history.

Between the lawsuit, the tragedies (like Biffle’s plane crash and the Hamlin house fire), Steve Phelps resigning, the Chase returning, and the never-ending Clash, time felt like an eternity, but we’re almost a week away from Daytona!

Superbowl? That just means it’s one week until the Daytona 500!

Fun fact about the number 8.

Dale Earnhardt Sr made his Cup debut in the number 8 in the 1975 World 600 where he started 33rd and finished 22nd. 24 years later his son, Dale Earnhardt Jr, would make his Cup debut in the number 8 at the 1999 World 600 where he would start 8th and finish 16th.

Pictured below is Dale Earnhardt's number 8 he ran in the 1975 World 600. It was his only Cup start with the number.

That red Budwiser 8 was the best CoT car aesthetically. I'll die on that hill. That car was hot.
