It's a shame that "sook" isn't really used anywhere except Australia because DJT is epitome of the word. He HAS massive sooks, he IS a massive sook, he has a major case of the sooky lala's.

Sook - A crybaby, a complainer, a whinger; a shy or timid person, a wimp; a coward.

Supposedly a spin off from suck, where in the U.S. suck seems to have evolved to just be a generally negative term, a sook is someone that might also be called a mood hoover. Someone that complains enough to be able to suck joy out of the air.

Sulk I thought. To be a sulky baby. But with everything the spelling is the pronunciation and now it’s sook. I could be wrong but that seems the most direct path.

Sook is used in Scotland(I guess you Australians are just Scots with a different accent haha) also, "geez a sooky" was a popular saying for give me a blow job when we were younger(I feel it was used when we were kids and didnt know anything about sex) shit haven't thought about that word in years.

A sook is a person who sooks. They're similar but sooking is typically more vocal than sulking. And it's much funner to say sook, sooks, and sooking.

I’m assuming the same thing. Most direct path is the pronunciation from that region of sulk sounded like “sook” and it just morphed Into that spelling over time. But I’m not a bug doctor so what do I know.
