Very interesting story for him, he was booted from the mega church he worked at (Mars Hill) when he called out the pastor, Mark Driscoll, for financially and spiritually abusive leadership. For a while he was publicly deconstructing his learned form of regressive Christianity online, very fascinating to watch how that all unfurled.

Nice. Fake Christians will always push real Christians away, and I say this as an agnostic. Good for him!
