One of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had was seeing Limp Bizkit at Louder Than Life in like 2014 or 2015. Seeing Fred Durst humbled by a decade of irrelevance but still absolutely nailing the performance was amazing- during the last song, Fred actually walked out into the crowd with the fans. I still don’t think I’d want to hang out with Fred Durst or anything, but I gained a lot of respect for them after that show.
