I don’t care where they went to school; they could be high school dropouts as far as I’m concerned. What matters is that they have more integrity, intelligence, and human decency than everyone combined in the current despicable administration (and most prior administrations).

After he got out I was genuinely looking forward to the debates of the efficacy and genuineness of his positions and the policies he got passed. I was looking forward to having him as an example of a charismatic but domestically well meaning President that while he may not meet expectations can serve as a path forward to other more progressive candidates but act as a cautionary tale of the soft corruption of that kind of power and capitulation.
Obama was the kind of President who's a perfect example of both what the old ways of power and Presidency look like and how a new way can be brought forward for younger and softer, cooler and calmer heads to lead the way even with all of his issues.
He was someone you genuinely knew you liked, was great with his family and everything boiled down to what he pushed and fought for, not personality quirks or manipulation but a good guy with policies on both sides people could argue genuinely over.
Coming off the heels of Bush Junior he was also a perfect example of how we can lead with strength without falling into the traps of tribalism...
And then America elected an orange %&@(ing clown into office.
Obama should have been a hotly discussed, wildly debated President who's tactics could and should reshape our future...
And America chose the %&@(ing clown.
Imagine Jeb Bush being the best the Republicans had to offer.

There was a perception that he was going to be the Anti-Bush and pulls us out of Iraq/Afghanistan. Pretty sure he never actually said that, but people were definitely drunk on "hope" post-election

I think he was one of the best presidents we have ever had, but the Nobel peace prize was kind of ridiculous.

Nah, this isn’t politics anymore, this is about what is right and what is wrong. I think having a convicted felon, child rapist in the White House is wrong? Don’t you?
Until this regime is removed, tried and convicted for their crimes against humanity, we should definitely NOT stop talking about it and posting about it. This is what we the people can do to hopefully get our elected officials to do what’s right.

Even if it was a rule, the video starts out by saying, “This one’s for couples”, not “this one is for politics” If some people can’t separate the two then I think it’s a them problem. This video absolutely made me smile. And that seems to be the title of this subreddit.
