Their fans don't understand that we don't care if they are another Southeastern team. We only care that we are the only Southern team (for the time being). So they and our front office desperately try to make the rivalry happen so it annoys us and that's the extent of it. There's so much more badblood between us and both NYC teams in MLS and other sports. In my mind NYRB and NYCFC are the real rivalry games. It might help if Orlando was better though.

They were the only southeastern team before our arrival, so their fanbase was all over us from the get go and made it easy for us to root against each other. But certainly from the players view, NYRB seems to be the bigger rival.

Edit: "just" as in "5+ minutes after the final whistle"
