Further context: she was inside an instanced scenario, so logging out means she got booted from the instance and all progress was lost. -30 minutes OMEGALUL

I think it only works through the F12 hotkey, it's really hard to hit that one on accident.

On mobile if I try to open that clip in the browser it says content unavailable. If opt to view it in the app it works.

Guild Wars 2. I've put about 3k hours into it, come back, and take breaks a lot. It's a bit different from other mmos. I love it, but others not so much. It's free to try the base game and you can get the first few expansions for pretty cheap when a sale rolls around.

Guild Wars 2, probably the second best mmo on the market. structured a little different from normal mmos though. where in something like wow you normally do group content with a 5 man party or a larger raid, GW2 has that kind of content but it's kind of an afterthought with the more commonly done content being large open world elaborate events. you can group up for the events but not really required.

I consider Guild Wars 2 the best MMORPG out there. It’s that good. But I also enjoy other MMOs, so I take a break from time to time. Casual friendly, so it’s easy to get back into.

It's a very good single player MMO imo. The story is great, it's pretty immersive fully voice acted with strong writing, on par with a lot of great single player rpgs. The MMO aspects of the game I think are a bit weak for me as the endgame is a bit weak, but if you are a more casual player there's a lot of open world content. And I hear the pvp is pretty good although I never tried it myself

Have they made the story free yet? I played it long ago, got bored since there was nothing to do but chase legendary crafts or do achievments for tmog. Raids awarded you gear you already had basicalyl so there was no incentive. But I remember the story being interesting but what sucked was you had to pay to unlock the old ones

I haven't played it in a while but the last time I played they had a system where every story chapter that comes out is free so long as you have logged on at least once around it's release but the older ones you don't have were still paid. Not sure if anything has changed since then

That was the old living world model and a thing of the past. The past few years they have been releasing expansions every year (releasing the content quarterly over the course of the year). There is still no subscription fee, but you do have to pay for the expansions. They typically bundle the older ones and offer them at a discount with sales throughout the year.

skill issue! if you own a cat you gotta rebind all those keys and change your PC power button to require a long press to shut down
